Alright, I've been looking for a Mexican food joint in the local area that slaps and this is the place!
They just opened up their kitchen for food like a week ago so it's all new stuff.
I will say all the food I ordered was good, but being a food reviewer I also have to be honest. I think they can get even better and just need to finese their craft a bit
what do I mean by that, well I think the consume with the brijja tacos could be more rich and flavorful. It wasn't the worst consume I've ever had, but it also wasn't the best.
The street dog was really good and I recommend that, I do think the ketchup over powered it a bit and would like some more Latin heat in the dog less of the ketchup flavor.
We had chicken and beef street tacos and there's nothing to complain here the tacos were great and I recommend them. They were packed with meat and flavor.
We also got the Carne asada fries that was also delicious.
So what I want to say Is they can improve but if your going anywhere else for Mexican food I'm the vicinity you are making a big mistake.
This place slaps, and I think it's going to be a hit and have really good business.
Literally I've been to all the other Mexican joins in monticello and becker and they are no where near as good.
I do think AZ Taco has this place but the owner said he's friends with the owner of AZ taco and I think he can definitely get some tips from them if that's the case with the consume and brijja tacos 🌮 for sure.
Anyways much love to this place I'll be coming back again and again.
Last thing. Price was phenomenal. Better pricing then AZ Taco yall beat them on that. We spent $33...
Read moreI’ve been here multiple times, and every single visit feels like discovering a new cheat code for happiness. I try something different every time because I literally can’t get enough. The flavors are bold, fresh, and unforgettable—like someone’s abuela is back there putting generations of love into every bite.
This visit? I had the creamiest, most vibrant guacamole I’ve ever tasted, paired with hot, crispy, whisper-thin tortilla chips that somehow manage to defy the laws of chip physics. Then came the al pastor tostada, which I’m convinced is proof that joy can, in fact, be edible. Perfectly seasoned pork with a touch of sweet char, all piled onto a tostada that stayed crunchy like it had something to prove.
Even my son, who usually treats eating like a hostage negotiation, devoured two massive taquitos like he was training for a competitive eating event. That’s how you know it’s the real deal.
And don’t even get me started on the ice cream and desserts. They’ve got about a zillion unique flavors—I’m talking tamarind, mango chamoy, churro, and everything in between. It’s like a Willy Wonka factory, but spicy and cooler.
Bottom line: Best Mexican food I’ve ever had. This place is the GOAT. Friendly staff, incredible food, and enough menu variety to keep me coming back until I’ve tried it all—and even then I’ll probably...

Tacos: When you order at the counter, you wait for your food to be ready. However, the process can be a bit chaotic since they don't give you a number or ask for your name. Instead, they just call out the order, which can be confusing if there are multiple customers.
The salsa containers are quite small and unremarkable. The chips, on the other hand, are nicely cooked, crispy, and taste fresh, although they have very little salt. The guacamole is fresh and flavorful, not spicy, and probably the best part of the whole order.
The quesabirria tacos are larger compared to those at other local restaurants, and the consommé is flavorful. The street tacos are decent, but they lack onion and cilantro, which might have been an oversight. The beef in the street tacos is a bit dry.
Ice Cream: The ice cream is hand-scooped and hard. They also have a wide variety of house-made popsicles in different flavors.
We tried the salted caramel and Butterfinger ice creams. Both were fine but not particularly special. They also offer a couple of varieties of...
