Went to this monticello location and the service was okay, not great. I won't go into much detail on that but I do want to express the food... I ordered a cali Benedict and explicitly asked for the white to not be runny at all on an over easy cook to the egg. Once I received my food everything looked good and was cooked nicley. I got about half way through the first of the two Benedict to realize I was not only eating that but the paper that is in-between cheese slices. Told the manager and she went and ordered up a new one.
The cook came out and said "I'm sorry, I tell my cooks to make sure they don't do that, but I ended up doing it" and he went back to the kitchen and that ended up being the store GM or something I dont exactly remember. Anyways, once I got my second Benedict I went to cut into it and the eggs were so far from what I originally asked for they were extremely under done for my liking and at that point I was offered another remake and I decline due to waiting and no longer having an appetite and had her take the fresh Benedict away as I didn't even take a bit of it.
Once going up to the register only one Benedict had been taken off our bill, and there were egg surplus charges, we had to request that both Benedicts be removed and surplus charges.
Ive been Highly disappointed with this location multiple times this is just my first review here as I was hoping to help your decision wether to go...

My favorite is the country fried steak, and I was not disappointed. It's fresh, it's tasty, and it's very well-prepared. At most places, they cook the steak to death -- to those places, I suggest you take a lesson from the cooks here! The meat was tender and the breading was nice and crispy! It's rare to get a really GOOD country fried steak unless I'm cooking it myself, but at THIS Perkins, I've never been disappointed.
Besides the food being excellent, the service was equally as good. Our server was very sweet, attentive without being overbearing, and a real pro! Thank you for the excellent service!
I'll also mention this store's cleanliness because, especially as a woman, it MATTERS. Everything was clean. There were no funky smells in the dining room, the floors were clean, tables were wiped down immediately, the dishes, silverware, and glasses were clean, and the bathroom was sparking and even smelled good. Y'all need to offer an in-service to other restaurants on the importance of great service and clean environments! I'd recommend this Perkins to ANYONE!
Thank you for an...

Dining out is usually about the food. But tonight? Tonight was about herāthe waitress, the legend, the queen of tableside charm.
From the moment we sat down, it was clear we were in the presence of service royalty. Not only did she greet us like old friends, but she had more wit than a Shakespearean comedy and timing sharper than a sushi chefās knife.
Need a drink refill? Already doneābefore I even realized I was thirsty. Dropped my fork? She replaced it so fast, Iām convinced sheās got a sixth sense. Thinking of dessert? She read my mind and convinced me to order two. (Yes, I regret nothing.)
But the real highlight? Her running commentary that turned our meal into dinner and a show. She had zingers, puns, and dad jokes that would make a stand-up comic weep with envy.
In short, this waitress is the Shania Twain of the restaurant world. Grace under pressure, comedic timing, and the uncanny ability to remember every special, even the one with the truffle foam and existential angst.
Would I return? Absolutely. Would I request her section? Without question. Would I start a fan club? Already in progress.
Of course Iām...
