As a former customer of Eat-a-ly, we were sad to see it go. On the other hand, we were excited to a local eatery with a great following coming in to replace it. I read an article a few days ago that they were scheduled to open on July 16th. My wife and I thought that being the second day open we would beat the crowd and experience the over 200 years of experience in the restaurant industry. Needless to say we were less than impressed by what we experienced. When you park in the confusing parking lot, that has yellow caution tape blocking the entrance they turned into 2 spaces. Then walk into the building where you are greeted by the young girl who knows nothing about the menu, but is there to take your order. There is no explanation about getting your own plastic ware. No glass of water, no fresh brewed coffee or tea. Not even a glass of ice for your drink. The food arrived too quickly and the bread on the sandwich was toasted (barely) not grilled. The chips are coated in ranch dust, plain is not an option. They were out of potato salad on the second day of business. The pasta salad (when asked what veggies were in it) answer was veggies.??? Burger was smaller than a McDonalds burger. My favorite part was the giant rotten potato in my breakfast potatoes. Spoke to others that were less than pleased as well. For 35 bucks I can get better food at a gas station and feed 4 people. Tha article said they are looking at opening 3 more locations. Do everyone a favor...
Read moreIf you need good food fast, this is your place to go! This was our second time going and both times we received our food quickly. We had the French toast (the syrup with it is delicious) and Bacon, egg and cheese which was a savory and tasty. I highly recommend it. It will be awesome to see how this place evolves. As someone stated before in the comments, the parking lot is not challenging. If you know how to drive, you'll be fine, if you see the cooler you know they serve drinks and coffee and if you read anything they posted, it is a soft opening which means they are opened, but slowly progressing towards their goals of where they want to be. If you want something quick and not wait in a restaurant for 30 minutes just to receive your glass of ice water or coffee, then this is your...
Read moreStopped by Jenny Lee’s Breakfast Nook and it did not disappoint! I ordered the Johnny Angel’s Rock & Roll Eggs and wow—they were so yummy. I actually dug in before I thought to take a picture, it was that good! The portion was generous, loaded with potatoes and ham, and every bite was delicious. My friend went with the Bacon Smash Burger, and let’s just say there’s no evidence left that it ever existed—it disappeared fast!
On top of the amazing food, it’s a great value for the portion sizes. The space itself is very open and inviting, which makes it the perfect spot to sit back and enjoy a meal. Definitely...
