Had an amazing dinner at Four Twelve Project. All of the alcohol and beers are local PA companies. As well as the food. I believe the restaurant focuses only locally sourced items from PA. I personally love that idea. It is a family owned and run restaurant. We had the bacon appetizer. And it did not disappoint. The bacon was thick and covered in an amazing sauce. Three pieces were definitely shareable. The old fashion is a must for those that like them. I had a beer flight. You get to pick from their list of beers and there is enough for anyone to find four they want to try. For dinner I had the chicken noodle bowl. It had amazing flavors and had just enough spicy heat to be delicious. It was a nice large portion. My boyfriend had the bacon chicken Mac and Cheese. It was huge and deliciously cheesey! I may have stolen a few bites when his back was turned. The pork and BBQ chicken skewers looked amazing. The veggie skewer that comes with the entree was perfectly charred and tasty. That will be my next choice when we go back. I plan onany more visits to come. I would suggest making reservations if you can.

My wife and I were sure there was not a great restaurant in Western PA until we took the recommendation of the Airport Hilton Garden Inn front desk and visited the Four Twelve Project. We had an amazing experience there. The vibe was positive despite being very busy. Our server, Sally, was fantastic. We ordered the candied bacon appetizer (pictured), which was plenty for us to share. She got the rib special (pictured) and I got one of their unique specialty burgers. They have a great selection of small PA brewery beers on draft. The food was through the roof. The place is a farm to table concept with ownership on site. If you can get in, do it. They do take reservations so don't count on getting lucky like we were. It is also very reasonably priced. Bravo!!! Loved it!

Whoa!.. my wife and I been to various upscale restaurants in other countries and here in the USA. I can say with all confidence that this is a hidden gem. You would never expect this style of delicious food and attention to detail when it comes to food, there is only 1 thing I would like to give my opinion on. The banana pudding dessert was not executed well the night I had it. It was more like banana puree, but flavor was nice Their Malbec is EXTRAORDINARY and it's made here in PA.. down the street 😯....The cheeseboard was great, the fried shrimp app is a MUST, specially with that sauce they put at the bottom. The steak was good.. the veggies were impressively flavorful but the mash cripsy fingerling potatoes are one of the crispiest dishes I have ever tasted

I’m definitely a fan! I wanted to try almost everything on the menu and loved my meal, as did everyone in my group. Service was good and very friendly.

It’s also a lot of food. We shared the Brussels sprouts & I got enough mac & cheese gif that night & three more lunches.

I highly recommend the restaurant & can’t wait to take my family (we had a girls’ night out).

I didn’t try the wine, since there were other options that appeared more that night, but they offer wine flights.

I still love Four Twelve Project and last night we were there with a group of ten, so now I’m even more impressed. Our waitress (Annette T.) was AMAZING. Even with 5 couples, she got everything correct. She was even right about the drink I’d prefer. Our food all came out hot and delivered to the right place. She went over the specials twice - once at each side of the table, so we could all hear her in the busy restaurant. She even packed up our food for us at the table. I can’t remember the last time I had leftovers and didn’t have to package them myself. Very impressive.

The food was amazing, as always, though we got unlucky with some of the menu items we wanted being gone at that point in the day. Our backup choices were all amazing and we all loved our meals. They even remade the steak for the person who got the steak. He hadn’t realized it came covered in steak sauce and they fixed it with a perfectly cooked steak.

Everyone at the restaurant was so nice. We closed out the restaurant even getting drinks at last call, but we NEVER felt rushed in any way, though I’m sure everyone...

We stopped by this evening for dinner and then abruptly decided to leave and not stay after being treated with very poor service from a woman who seemed to be a bartender. When we arrived the hostess told us it would be about a 5 min wait and said we could wait at the bar, great no problem. After walking over to the bar we saw all of the seats were either occupied or reserved. So I asked the hostess if it would be okay for us to wait outside, again no problem happy to wait.

Next thing we know a woman comes out seemingly frustrated and tells us to hold on. Then a minute later a man walks out and tells us he was kicked out of the bar and for us to go in and sit. At this point we’re confused but we go in. The woman then says ā€œsit down.ā€ And slaps two menus down onto the counter, very visually frustrated and said it rudely. We look at each other still confused and ask her ā€œhere?ā€ And said yeah and rolls her eyes and walks away.

Immediately we just decide to leave because we came for a nice evening together, not to be spoken to rudely and treated like we’re somehow being an inconvenience.

We were disappointed as it smelled lovely when we walked in and we were excited to have dinner and drinks here. I’m not sure what prompted the bartender/server to speak to us so rudely, either a bad day or a misconception that we were upset about waiting (we weren’t) but it was uncalled for and we have no interest in dining somewhere where we’re...

Pretty dismayed. My wife and I have gone here a bunch of times and it was always excellent. However we go tonight and let me preface it was a full house so everyone is flying around busy as hell. We ordered, I got the 3/4 lb ribeye and my wife the seafood risotto along with the brussel sprouts for an app. Sprouts came out fine then our entrees. My wife's risotto was soupy? Still ok but she has never gotten it like that. I got my steak that came with fries and 6 shrimp, which I started with. Cut into my steak that ordered medium and the whole thing was completely raw. It was certainly seared but they obviously did not bring this to temperature. No big deal stuff happens, upon letting the waitress know she responded "well I thought you said everything was fine". Mind you this was pre cutting into the ribeye. So I just send it back not interested in having it re cooked or replaced. She comes back and said we took half off due to you eating the shrimp. Which hey I did eat it so I should pay but no apology no manager coming over and at least saying sorry for the raw piece of meat we threw on your plate. We essentially paid 65$ tonight for sprouts and two soft drinks. So essentially the service was terrible and the food was served raw with zero recourse or apology. But thank you for taking off half the price of a steak I couldn't eat. But no biggie just another restaurant we can take off the list and...
