the lady who shipped my item was alright, but the girl who retrieve the shipment track record was friendly n quick. This package was returning verizon equipment w prepaid return label. Three customers, me as second one in line, two staff. While the counter lady helped the first, she prompted me to her register. I handed her the package n said its for Verizon. She handed me a sticky n asked for my name, phone no n email and said they will email me the receipt. As I walked out, she set mine aside and was helping the 3rd customer.very efficient I guess. a month later, my email shows Verizon email ed me twice remind me to return the equipment. I never receive any ups email. Using the tracking no from the prepaid label I had from Verizon, no status. When I call this store, a girl, very friendly and sounded happy, after I explained briefly n asked if I can track. She pulled up the info gave me the track record information. why is it different tracking no than the one from Verizon ? She said her system assigns the no automatically. except silly me I didn't write down no right thus couldn't pull up what she provided. went the store two days later, 3 staff 2 customers, I approached one staff n explaining the situation. She looked me and smiled, she was the one who helped me over the phone. Again, quick work, retrieve n print me the receipt. Very friendly. So thank you girl, whoever you are sorry I did not catch your name. Three questions tho, one why I never receive the email notification? Two why new tracking number? And why shipping address change ( pre paid label says harrisburg, ups receipt shows coatesville?) Nevertheless Verizon did receive my equipment, a or two day after I handed...
Read morePer a call to the UPS store in Moon, PA, I inquired about the cost to have an antique cedar chest that was my Mom’s who passed away shipped to me to Florida. I was misquoted (now I’m aware) and told they will pack it properly if dropped off directly. I gave a family member who lives in PA the info provided so it can be shipped. Upon her arrival to UPS, another employee told her she would have to buy her own packing material at UHaul. Baffles me! You’re UPS!! And you send us to U-HAUL? Two boxes wrapped and taped around a cedar chest, no “fragile” label, no label stating “this side up”.. delivered through multiple States and banged around on truck, the UPS driver in my local area then proceeded to roll my chest and slammed down it up and down repeating this to deliver to my door! My chest is destroyed!! And UPS denied claim for “improper packaging.” This falls fully on UPS as instructions from them were provided! They never marked or packaged the box accordingly and properly. Apparently, UPS does not know how to ship a chest and they partner with U-HAUL for service needs and don’t ship packages properly at this location. I am not a UPS packager or employee! It’s your job! The staff at the Moon location and management have failed me and my package! A sentimental piece that is irreplaceable! I do not recommend this store!
To the owner who responded to my review that THE UPS STORE provides packing and shipping services….you did not provide packing services! You sent us to U-Haul because of employees incompetence. You did not ship it properly marking fragile or this side up .. you failed at your job! Stop lying online. You did neither! All issues/damages begin with your...
Read moreI've experienced EXCELLENT customer service over the past 7+ years of being a customer at the UPS Store in Moon Township. I have come to Carrie and all of her wonderful staff for countless print jobs as well as national and international shipping. As a business owner myself, I understand that a customer may do everything he or she can do to tarnish the name of a company that has not given him or her the service that he or she demands, especially if it is outside company rules or policy. Carrie has been awesome help for my global business and ministry projects as well as my kids' elementary through high school projects. She gives back to the community and treats all with respect. Several of my colleagues in the medical field have had their fingerprints taken at this store, and there has been no time that Carrie has mistreated any of the fingerprinting customers. Usually, the ones who do complain are the ones who have waited until very soon before the deadline to have their results in, so they are already frustrated to begin with; taking it out on the store that offers a service that you need in order to return to your workplace is not the best way to handle a situation. There have been recent accusations that Carrie is racist. Her staff is actually very ethnically diverse, and I have seen people of all nationalities come in and out of her store, completely satisfied with the services provided. I must emphasize - what you sow is what you reap. When a customer lies about a business in order to justify his or her actions (or reactions), it just shows the unprofessionalism on the part of the customer. I have and always will continue to refer my friends and family...
