Paradiso Deli & Cafe — Restaurant in Moonachie

I was absolutely disappointed by this place, as i see online and on the menu IN the store the price for the grilled chicken w/mozz lettuce and tomato was 6$ each which I thought was a great deal and couldn't wait. As i got to be ringed up the cashier told me 7$ each and then I explain that it says 6$ online and in his menu at the store which I physically show him. He then tells me price is 7$ each or he will just put it back and i can go elsewhere. He then says the menu is 20years old and not updated but this menu looked relatively new which was a lie. He then says you can't get this anywhere else for at least 9$ so be happy with the price. I regretfully buy it and he finishes off by saying i will like it. He was absolutely wrong!!!! The sandwich was actually cold and not warm which was the biggest dissatisfaction. It tasted like he just got the chicken from the fridge and put I straight on top of some bread without toasting it. You cannot compare anything to this place. It's located in an office plaza and it's jamming at lunch time. Menu changes daily with homemade Italian dishes. The whole family works there and serves you. We go every single Friday and I either get the grilled chicken salad or the pizza. Grilled chicken is $8 and water is $1 plus you get free bread. The owner also gives us free canollis because we literally go every single Friday. Pizza is $2 per slice and it's big slices. We were operating an outdoor event at MetLife Stadium with a staff of 50 people. In a panic, I called these guys at 9am to see if they could get me catering for my entire group. Not only were they able to deliver our lunches on time, they GENUINELY AMAZED us with how good their food was. After one bite I could tell that these guys take pride in their work.
