At 6:00pm this evening I ordered a margarita pie - I asked for thin crust a few times since I’m used to the mix up. I was there in person and I waited there for them to make it. As I’m sitting there the boy tells me the pie is done and I asked if it was thin crust (because I could clearly see that it was not thin crust and he says “oh - half of it is” and then I see it and I had a weird look on my face and he goes “oh, do you want basil too?” I say “it’s a margarita pie - I thought it comes that way automatically?” Lol his reply made me so angry, “oh well idk some people don’t ask for it” - this is the first time I ever wrote a review in my life. He gave like 3 basil leaves ... what a mess.
*I'm replying to the reply below - first, if the basil was bad he should have said he couldn’t make the pie. Second, I wasn’t complaining about the sliding cheese from the transport- I was saying what a mess to the 3 basil leaves on the pizza. Third, he didn’t seem to know what to do for the margarita pie, there was another person there that offered to help him and he declined the assistance and maybe the other person would have been able to just say that the basil was bad because if he had told me you were out of basil or that it was bad, I would have understood (but he seemed like he just didn’t know what to do). Because now you are serving rotten food. I appreciate your offer but will it be made fresh or with bad ingreddiants? He was nice he wasn’t rude or anything but the food like two slices of pizza. I just don’t know why it tasted bad I didn’t fully eat it. I decided to throw out those two because it was too full of grease and the way how I was trying to fold it it didn’t even fold it, right & so never I mean never ever again I’m going back to the Pizzeria. And pizza masters of both Jersey City and Bayonne does a better than you guys.

Read moreIt came under new management recently and it's... weird???? The sauce is very simple bordering on bland and there's no acidity anymore. We got two pies and it came with a free plain personal and it tasted like they used two entirely different sauces for the full plain vs the personal. When we asked for sausage pizza it was kielbasa??? Which was fine but weird, when people ask for a sausage pie, they generally expect Italian sausage. IMO if you're gonna offer kielbasa label it as that on the menu. It was also very obviously mass produced grocery store kielbasa, tasted similar to johnsonville or bowl and basket. The pizza was cut into 14 slices?????
The best thing abt it was the dough, which was flavored well and well cooked.
I hope the new management takes this review into account, we've been regular customers for the last 10 years but this has us considering entirely switching over to the other pizza place up the street, which we've also been regulars at for at least as long...
