up until now I had no trouble with Marcos but lately they have slackened as of this year. the "manager' is merely an irritable spoiled rotten brat. I order an antipasto family size salad along with some other things and decide to save the salad until the next day, I find in my frig the next day the salad in a brown paper bag, but upon opening the bad, find it is not an antipasto salad but some letus and a bit of cheese(probably tofu which is a joke). Bottomline: not what i ordered. I call that night and find they do not keep records of anything nor credit card info. but elect to go ahead and get me a new salad, but it is not the FAMILY size so I end up with an antipasto but the small one! I call back. I am put on hold. I call back again I get one of the underlings and they call the manager and I am put on hold. I call back a third time and tell them I am tired of being put on hold and demand to speak to the manager they put me on hold I Call back again and they say the "manager" went out for a while. Probably because he wanted to go throw something out back at an innocent squirrle where they smoke cigs, as he obviously had anger management issues. and is an idiot and doesn't handle customers like a man. I finally get a hold of him and at first I politely say I got the wrong salad, he gets passive-aggressive and says, "fine whatever I guess I can't please everyone" I finally demand that I want either the correct order item or my money back he says "I already gave you your damned salad!" then hangs up on me.(a 14 year old child could do that) I call back, again I get one of his underlings, they call and I overhear them saying "it's that guy again" I am the customer, not "that guy"! I finally try two more times, get him he says "it is late we're closing" hangs up(on me, the customer!) I do a survey the next day and finally get even with him via the HQ(which more people should do instead of coming here and writing 5 star reveiws and brown-nosing!) I get not only the refund for the salad but the entire order. I hope they chew him out. anyway, I am not going to be a customer to Marcos Pizza ever again, I am glad HQ was communicative and professional and did get something done about getting me a full refund. someone needs to fire that brat and hire an older and more professional man to do the managing! one who does not cop attitude!...
Read moreMy wife walked in to pick up our order today. The lady behind the counter attempted to give her the wrong order. My wife pointed to the correct order and stated "The one there is my order" to wich the lady behind the counter stated "Oh, you speak English". My wife was shocked and asked "Why wouldn't I speak English?". To which the lady stated she had received a phone call from a Hispanic couple who couldn't speak English an hour ago and they still had not arrived to pick up the order she had attempted to give her. My wife clearly upset stated "So, because I'm brown you assumed I don't speak English?". The lady got upset and said she had done nothing but be nice and was not going to deal with "you" people (meaning my wife) . My wife stepped out and asked me to step in, the manager approached me and tried to understand what happened and said she would speak to the individual. They did not get the Chicken wings correct (the manager, fixed it), now home we are realizing even the pizzas were not cut. While the manager attempted to expedite our service so we could leave, you could see the uncomfortableness on her face and her unease of the situation about my wife being racially profiled and unsure of how to proceed. The individual made no attempted to apologize or address my wife or myself when we re-entered the establishment. On the contrary she made every effort to avoid us or look in our direction. Meanwhile my WIFE, was a decent human being and apologized to the manager for raising her voice out of anger and frustration at being racially profiled and being treated as less than the Proud U.S. Veteran and American...
Read moreYou want to know why service keeps declining? Here’s a little bit for you to read on why. There is no discipline at all. The cut table is so high out of their mind on shrooms and acid they have to babysit sit him while on the job. (They believe it has stopped just like the blowing of vape and cart clouds at the cameras, but it hasn’t. They’d know if they ever looked at the cameras.) Food prep is never done on time, which leaves the rest of the shift stressed out of their minds and that includes dough. Which is why your dough feels like cardboard because they are having to use same day dough (if you know anything about baking, then you would know you’re not going to get the same quality.) Expired food may or may not be thrown out, it’s a guessing game each time. Drivers will get multiple complaints on their driving as well as almost causing crashes, yet they keep them. You have one manager who goes out multiple times on shift to smoke weed and brings the smell heavily back in the store and while they keep that manager, any employee who partakes with them (medical card or not) they will fire. No this is not a retaliation review, because their higher ups know all of this, yet refuse to do anything. This is for the public and knowing why your service has vastly decreased in the past 6...
