The food is really good, and you get you money's worth. The quality is actually better than Panera, but at half the price. I go there about twice per month because I used to go to panera and spend like $22 on a bite of salad and a 3 year old's size handful of sandwich with a small smoothie, and having to wait 15+ minutes in the drive through. I was getting increasingly pissed off about it. But I was craving a baked potato one cold day and rediscovered Citi Bites and all was good again. Lol
Anyway, they're great. They have a drive through, the people there are so kind, and I don't have to worry about picking out rotting lettuce from my salads, unlike literally everywhere else.
They recently changed chicken, to this leaner, pulled chicken style variety and I really liked it on my salad, but the real tester will be when I get my monthly treat of one of their big *ss mesquite chicken potato(with added steamed broccoli, it's so worth it 🤤).
If I had one minor qualm, it's just that we could go a little easier on the dressing, lol. But I'd rather have a bit more dressing than I need rather than the sneeze-sized portion at panera.
And I haven't been to a panera in like 6 months because of them. God willing, I'll never have to go to...
Read moreIf I could give Zero stars I would. First off, let me start by saying I generally love City Bites but today…Wooh! My daughter and I walked into the Moore location as an older, greasy, looking employee came out of bathroom with an apron on talking loudly about how someone “destroyed the bathroom and he was NOT going to clean it!”. I should have turned around and left at that point but We did not, my mistake. The young gentleman that was taking our order was very friendly and made a comment that he was going to “take care of the bathroom.” and gave an apologetic smile. My daughter and I took our cups to the soda machine that wasn’t working. I caught the eye of the older rude employee and informed him that the soda machine wasn’t working and he looked at me and said “AND…?”. I said “AND we are thirsty.” Some unpleasantries exchanged and then he went to the back and was talking about me loudly. It’s a shame. All the other employees were so friendly and I feel for them that they have to work with someone like that. Never in my life have I had something like this happen at a restaurant. We will not be going back to...
Read moreFirst time to a City Bites…I’m very confused with the theme of this chain…the logo is a person with sunglasses, sort of an 80s vibe and then you walk inside and it’s a jungle-themed dining area with ants on the walls, rhino head above the bathrooms, and giant tree sculpture. I think little kids would like it. Color scheme is something out of a cheesy, 90s Saturday morning kids show. 🤷♀️ Well, I think the decor and ambience is a bit off-putting BUT the food was surprisingly pretty good! Ordered the beef-eater sandwich and some chips. Had to try the cookies since reviews rave about them. Got the ultimate peanut butter cookie and YES! Now I get why people eat here (or order out). Food is not bad. The kids working we’re really nice, friendly and accommodating when we asked for a side of pickles and tomatoes. Bathrooms were clean and dining room seemed to be pretty picked up too. Menu items included baked potatoes, sub sandwiches, a salad or two. Giving it 3 stars ⭐️...
