I normally have good service at Big Bitez. I have been eating at the location in Cornelius for years but just have recently started going to the Mooresville location. Saturday night i placed a call in for 4 plates and 4 drinks. I went to pick up the food and was originally told my total was 45 dollars even; but when i asked for sauces for my two chicken tender plates i was told my new total was 49 dollars because sauce is not included in the tender plate? I have never heard of a place not including some kind of dipping sauces for their chicken tenders. I got my food and paid the 49 dollars. I went to check my food, and all the food was great but the drinks were forgotten. I went back up to the counter to remind them about the drinks, and they stated i only order 3 drinks when i knew it was 4. 4 plates 4 drinks makes sense right? I tried then to purchase another drink, which would have only been less then 2 dollars i proceeded to try and swipe my card and i was stopped because there is a 5 dollar on their credit card machine. They told me that i would need to purchase something else if i wanted the drink that i ordered. Then they proceeded to tell me they would give me a small cup and i could just share my larger tea with the person missing the drink. I thought it was disrespectful after spending nearly 50 dollars at this restaurant! If they were going to give me the cup for free anyways why couldn't they just fill up the cup with tea like i ordered. I was not going to spend 5 more dollars for a drink i order after already spending 50 dollars. The food was great but i just felt this situation could have been handled a little bit better. Like i said previously i have never had any issues out of Big Bitz at...
Read moreHad lunch with my wife at this VERY popular Mooresville location. It was our first visit to this location.
This restaurant is a very "self serve" experience. You arrive and wait on line to place an order chosen from the big display board behind the counter. You pay, are given an order number, and asked to find a table seat (or wait for a take out bag). Your order is delivered to you freshly made (no heat lamps) and your drinks are refreshed if needed. When finished, you can ask for "to go" boxes and drink cups for any leftovers you may want to take home. (This is likely!). Lastly, you can clear your table or leave for the staff to do. Note that the eating area is relatively small, and consequently somewhat loud, but not it is not uncomfortable. The food itself is quite good. I had a greek salad with gyro, and wife had a pork slovaki pita sandwich. Both llerte large servings that generated some take home.. which we did!! Prices are moderate, and the variety of choices is very good. We will go/be back, and start to explore the other...

We decided to try the food based on a friend's suggestion. Well it does not disappoint! It's family owned.. I met Helen she and her husband own this and the second location near Cornelius. I had chicken salad sandwich.. It was fantastic.. No gristle.. Chunk white meat with the perfect amt of salt pepper and celery. My husband . Who's a meat and potato guy.. got the grilled chicken club.. 2 chicken brests and he said it was great. He really liked it. The have a huge selection made to order and even have a drive up window.. So you can also call ahead. Helen was wonderful. Very friendly..Like your mom or Grandma! Gave details of ingredients when I asked..
