Monsoon Asian Grill & Sushi Bar — Restaurant in North Carolina

I gave this place another try after a bad experience once before . I place an order online through the website for 2 bento boxes and a sushi roll on the side . I selected my items and paid 40 plus for my food . Once arriving back home to eat our orders I noticed that items were missing from both my husbands and my bento box . I politely called the restaurant to voice my concern and see what could be done. The woman who answered the phone was very rude said it was a mistake on the website and began to argue with me saying I was not charged for something I clearly was (as it was listed on the receipt with the price ) I asked if I could please come pick up the items that were missing and she then told me she was going to charge me and additional 20 for the missing items . I tired ti explain that I was already charged why am I having to pay again . He response was very unsettling . The woman responds with well normally if we notice and error we call but we’re just too busy . I’m sorry excuse me ? Your too busy to contact a paying customer to let them know that there is an issue with their order . Furthermore when my husband went in to pick up the order again nothing was said . Safe to say I will not be ordering from this restaurant ever again . The food was bland and cold and the customer service was horrible . I hope that no one has the same experience as I did and that they learn the proper way to deliver...

Ordered take out, Sushi Platter and Korean BBQ Pork Belly rice bowl. $42 for lunch, before tip. The sushi platter ($23) was bland, there was imitation crab as one of the sashimi "chef's choice" options, which is not a promising sign. The fish was not flavorful, even the salmon was bland. The Nigiri was worse. The rice was overcooked, soggy, no flavor, no hint of vinegar, just mush under tasteless fish. There was too much rice for each Nigiri, and the portion of fish provided was small. I was served my "soup" in a to go dressing container, without a spoon. I will not order sushi here again. The rice bowl was disappointing. The pork belly had promise. It was crispy, but it tasted like burnt oil. I was expecting some type of Kim Chi, or heat, or some element of flavor, but it was not to be found. The egg was flat, the mango veggie mix was tasteless, the "garlic rice" was undercooked, lacked flavor. I ate the pork and egg and threw away the rice. Really disappointed. The seaweed salad was standard, but I imagine that comes...

We have been coming to this restaurant since it opened and this had to be the worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant. When we got there they told us it would be a few minutes on a table so I decided I would get my wife a drink at the bar for her birthday. After waiting over 10 minutes with zero service, I decided to go back to our group and wait for our table. Another 10 minutes or so had passed when my wife decided to try and get a drink. After talking to the hostess she got a drink. Finally when got seated, It took our waiter for ever to check on us and ask us what we wanted to eat and drink. Finally after taking our order, he forgot me and my daughter’s dressing for our salad and my drink. After waiting again for several minutes for service, I just ate what I had. The people in our group never got asked for refills and I never got my drink. When the check came, the waiter stood at the table over my shoulder waiting for me to pay, while I made sure I didn’t pay for anything like my drink I never got...
