CynTucci's Bakery — Restaurant in Mooresville

I cannot say enough good things about CynTucci's Bakery in Mooresville! They recently made cupcakes, cookies and a bride/groom cake for my daughter's wedding and the desserts were a huge hit! Everything was fresh and unbelievably, stood up to the hot sun on a Saturday afternoon at our outdoor dessert table. We had lemon and almond cupcakes, a red velvet cake, two 4lb Italian trays and two pounds of rainbow cookies - all were "melt in your mouth" outstanding. I met Angela at the counter in July when my daughter and I popped in to sample their cookies. Within minutes, I knew that CynTucci's would be our place for everything we needed for the September event. Angela was so professional to work with, not to mention, sweet and helpful. We placed our final order about two weeks before the September 16 wedding date and on September 15, everything was ready and very securely boxed up. I can't recommend CynTucci's highly enough. Cookies were OK, but I was super disappointed with the customer service and treatment my family recieved. My family visited this bakery while on vacation in Mooresville. We were so excited to find it and made sure that we stopped in. However, just as quickly as we entered the store we were asked to leave. I literally spent less than a minute in the store and was asked to go outside so other customers could come in. Wasn't I a customer too? I explained that we were all buying and needed to look around in order to decide what we wanted. Unfortunately I was still asked to leave to allow other customers to come in. Doesn't make much sense to me though because about 5 of us left to wait outside so another 5 customers could come in. So it definitely wasn't because there were too many people in the store. Also, if you're worried about following protocols for covid, you should probably start with wearing masks. Me and my family went into this store and were told to leave after a minute. We were a large group so it would've been understandable if she didn't want a large group of people in her store because of COVID-19, except it wasn't because she didn't have a mask on the entire time. The employee had a nasty tone and didn't want to answer any of our questions. Another cause of our removal from the store could've also been the difference in our skin color. We weren't allowed to take our time and decide. All of the baked goods we ordered were trash. All of the cookies tasted like dust packed together. None of the cookies that were filled with chocolate or raspberry had a sufficient amount to taste. I couldn't eat the rest of my M&M cookie because of the cement particles in my throat, so I picked off the M&M's and threw the rest in the trash. The Caucasian family outside was noticed by the employee and she immediately told us to get out because we weren't buying anything in her 1 minute time...
