I can't say enough nice and wonderful things about Richards coffee shop and museum!! My husband is a veteran amd we've been up there lots of times, even with my son and he loves it too!! Read moreThis is a MUST-SEE for everyone in and around the Mooresville area. The living military museum is absolutely amazing! Unique displays, distinctive artifacts, and photos and art from so many different war-time eras are all set out with thoughtful respect. The Honor Room is humbling. It definitely choked me up and brought tears to my eyes.
On Saturday mornings, locals come in for live music and that was really cool to see. There are lots of different coffee options and everyone who works here does so on a voluntary basis.

Read moreFinally tried Richards Coffee Shop! I wrongly assumed it was just a vet hangout - while it is VERY welcoming to vets it isn't JUST for vets. In addition to honoring our vets (through the displays, meetups, and service), they are welcoming to us non-vets as well (although we don't get the vet discount).
