I can't say enough nice and wonderful things about Richards coffee shop and museum!! My husband is a veteran amd we've been up there lots of times, even with my son and he loves it too!! And if you're military and are struggling just go in and ask to speak with someone at the restaurant part in the back section (front section is the museum). Amazing human beings. And you can tell they have love for not only their community but of course their country! 💙🇺🇸🙏🏼 And if you need help financially they help veterans You just have to go in and bring your information with you what you need help with and bring your DD214 and they'll see if they can make it or...

This is a MUST-SEE for everyone in and around the Mooresville area. The living military museum is absolutely amazing! Unique displays, distinctive artifacts, and photos and art from so many different war-time eras are all set out with thoughtful respect. The Honor Room is humbling. It definitely choked me up and brought tears to my eyes.

On Saturday mornings, locals come in for live music and that was really cool to see. There are lots of different coffee options and everyone who works here does so on a voluntary basis.

Finally tried Richards Coffee Shop! I wrongly assumed it was just a vet hangout - while it is VERY welcoming to vets it isn't JUST for vets. In addition to honoring our vets (through the displays, meetups, and service), they are welcoming to us non-vets as well (although we don't get the vet discount). As for the coffee shop, it's down-home cooking and super reasonably priced.
