Dive Bar Mooresville — Restaurant in Mooresville

I love barcades and dives so I was excited to check this out. It’s a basement so look for the stairs. Pretty small spot but it wasn’t busy when we visited so it didn’t affect us much. Drinks were good and we’re able to play the majority of games. The pool tables are tight especially around the merch rack of shirts. They have some good games but unfortunately most have issues. Mortal Kombat had stuck buttons and broken joysticks and the hunting game had a broken trigger on one of the guns. This wouldn’t be a big deal if they’re free to play but they’re all setup on credit card readers which work flawlessly and games weren’t cheap. I will probably check it out again but I couldn’t imagine being in this spot when it’s packed out like most of the pictures posted in reviews. great fun place to go hang out! the bartenders are super personable, drinks were great, and lots of fun arcade games and pool to enjoy. however, there’s not a ton of room to sit so there is a lot of standing which is fine. also, we could find any info on age restrictions but the place is 21+ only!!

it did throw me off a little that they allowed a “service dog” in because “he showed paperwork”. but there is no certificate for an SD and it’s illegal to ask for it (anything they might show is fake). on top of this, the “SD” was very anxious and scared. it’s too loud for that dog or any dog unless trained enough to withstand loud noise.

despite this, i would return. we did enjoy our time there. i just hope the owners and staff learn from that mistake and work on following the correct ADA...

I use to come here a lot until management decide to hire horrible staff upfront. And when I mean upfront I mean bartenders. The place isn’t as friendly as it use to be. The bartenders are lot more rude (especially the red hair bartender). I got closed out early because I was trying to help a friend out with his tab and the lady had closed me out early and she couldn’t tell me why after i had asked her why. I’ve spent so much at this establishment to be disrespected like this. Owners probably don’t care but for anyone coming here be aware bartenders will give you an attitude & hard time! Place...
