Went through the drive thru yesterday morning between 8-10 a.m. The young lady working the drive through window was incredibly rude. She made sarcastic comments, was impolite, and seemed irritable which was shocking and off putting considering I was being polite and friendly. For example, when she asked if I wanted a straw for my drink I said “yes I’d love a straw for the cold drink please” and she rolled her eyes and said “no for the hot one” and then slammed the window. When the window shut she was screaming and goofing off, and another employee that I usually see when I visit handed out the drinks and was friendly as she always is. It’s a shame because every other experience we’ve had has been good and the other staff are always super friendly. I probably will go to the Starbucks on holiday or the caribou at Hornbachers, but more than likely not this location if there is staff that mistreats customers without provocation. Top it off today my husband went to pick up our order and he had his hands full with our two puppies and my daughter who has cerebral palsy so she struggles to hold things with her hands. She ended up dropping one of the coffees so he had to go back but the poor guy had no idea what I ordered. He explained the situation hoping he would know what I ordered. Not only did he remake it but then didn’t charge him. We go there all the time and this just makes my heart warm all the kindness they showed. Seriously never have I had a bad experience with this Starbucks. Selfishly it’s a hidden gem that I hope stays that way even when people figure out it’s worth driving to this location. I’m going to assume I came in when the manager was on a lunch break because the staff was acting like it was a house party. There is nothing wrong with having fun at work, but this staff carried on with conversations while we tried to order. We didn’t realize it was a Starbucks express, so no indoor seating and essentially only for mobile pickup, and when we remarked at that, the barista rolled her eyes. She said they were never busy, so I would assume that they’d be happy to just have something to do like heat up the sandwich we ordered but instead they just kind of goofed around until the same girl that took our order laughed and said “I guess I have to do everything.” Then handed us sandwiches that were basically falling out of the bread because they were just being...
