Love this place!! Foods always fresh and the staff is amazing!!
I made this review years ago. I have been coming here since my daughter was 1. So at least the past 16 or 17 years. At least 1x a month but most months more. So in all I have probably visited your establishment well over 200x. We have had birthday dinners there. It's are go to place for Chinese food. But tonight. Wednesday March 31st 2021 was by far the worst service I had here. Your servers that were working between 7 and 8 while we were there were down right lazy. The one sat their most of the time complaining about how off and sick she feels and how it's her prednisone and her asthma and this and that and practically sleeping with her head down on the table.. but when she wasn't complaining she had no problems sitting down to eat.. sure didn't see her wash her hand in between eating and getting up to get drinks for the few customers she had. Asking for a certain type of food to be replaced on the buffet thats not hard and gross was only met with rudness. The waitress said that they wont be putting more out. Whatever fine but when I said that there hasn't been any fresh stuff put out since we had been there and her reply was snotty and rude. And she said it was done about 20 minutes before I got there. I guess that's probably why an hour later it was hard and gross. The kitchen was amazing and made it for me anyway but the rudness of the service was so off putting that I just wanted to leave. While I love this restraunt I will think twice before coming back. I left the 5 star review because the restraunts food is great. The owner David has always been so sweet to me and my family. But I can't stand rude servers. It's so off putting. Normally the service is amazing. But as I said the ones working ...
Read moreI think I'm convinced that there's never anything fresh here. The waitress's seat you and then go sit at other booths on the opposite side of the restaurant to talk to friends. I had a bad experience last time and so I decided to try to give this place a try again and got the same thing again a second time. I got a variety plate of chicken to try a few things and all of them were cold and even the kabob was rock hard. Then when I went to the counter to leave(after having literally no service and my drink sitting empty for 10 minutes) I mentioned my experience and the waiter shrugged me off with a smirk and charged my card without a care. After charging my card I decided to ask her if she had a manager available or something, and she went and brought the owner out who is apparently the chef as well. He told me he didn't know what to say, so I pointed at my table nearby and told him about the waiter, showed him the plate of hard cold food and empty glass, etc. He didn't seem to care but he said he reversed the transaction. To this day I don't think I ever received my money back and I don't care enough to go back there to...
Read moreI'm a big man and (maybe TOO) interested in Asian spice, so I'm probably biased. That said, the early dinner hours have been phenomenal.
The waitress I had for both of my two visits was attentive to every table, and even the cook stopped by while he was refilling his drink to ask if I needed the blinds shut!
The food itself is...predictable, but that's good! I happened to come in on Wednesday, the first time, which is Dumpling Night! They had three kinds of dumplings (I'd call them potstickers, myself) and of them I liked the pork and sweet corn dumpling the best, but mainly because it reminded me of creamed corn, which I love. For desserts, the ice cream machine is a fair solution, and the Tiramisu is a nice touch, but it's the Almond Cream Wontons I fill my plate with.
Worth coming to, for sure. 9/10
P.S. To-go is same price as buffet, but the boxes aren't small and as long as they latch you can fill them...
