Pancheros Mexican Grill - Moorhead — Restaurant in Moorhead

Came in for lunch at 12:45p on 4/22/23. I was never greeted with three workers in the front with no customers in front of them, they must’ve been working on to-go orders which is fine. No big deal. Waited a minute, then a young guy walked up to me and didn’t say a word, just stared at me, so I just asked for my burrito. Made the tortilla and just stared at me again, not saying a word, with a bored look on his face. I asked for my toppings. Employee still said nothing. Rang up my order and didn’t ask if I wanted a drink, so I asked for a bottle of soda. Gave me my total, I paid. Asked if I wanted a receipt, I said no. Forgot about my drink so I reminded him that’s all I needed. Grabbed the wrong one at first, but then found the correct one. Not a huge deal, but didn’t really seem like he was paying attention. I don’t really complain much, but the guy who helped me didn’t say one word to me until he gave me my total and asked if I wanted a receipt. This review is based solely on customer service, not the food. Any customer expects communication at the bare minimum. Didn’t think that was much to ask for. Disappointed because I’ve always had nice people help me...

Just visited today and it was hands down the worst Pancheros experience I have had. After walking in I visited the restroom, meeting the employee who later served us as he was exiting, and it was beyond filthy. The toilet looked as though it hasn't been cleaned and the sink had grime all over it, to top it off there was no soap so how the employee washed his hands I do not know. The employee then came to serve us in the line, his t shirt was filthy, stains and fresh crud all over the front. He seemed to be ill, with a runny nose. The food line was not clean. It had crusty old food all over and I watched as my burrito slid all over said crusty food. He finished making the burrito and as we walked away I heard him turn to his co worker and complain of stomach pains and disappeared. The burrito was cold and tasted day old. Very very disgusted with the whole experience. I will never visit a Pancheros...

First off - LOVE this place.

I want to give my perspective of an incident before another customer in question calls or does anything. This was Feb 5th around 6:45pm. Some guy wasn't happy about the liquid consistency of the queso. I was in line after him, they just brought the stuff out FRESH. So he didn't like how it looked - eat it or don't. Anyway, my Wife and I continue ordering and all of a sudden this guy is harassing the staff about...the QUESO. Looks like he ordered some for his chips, but then freaked out inappropriately. To any franchise owner or manager - this staff, and the manager on duty, responded perfectly! They didn't lose their temper, like he did. And the manager defended his staff, the restaurant, and the brand from a guy who just wanted his money back, and to claim they weren't serving fresh ingredients. I loved that, and I...
