First, I attempted to order a dinner at 9pm. Even though this place was open that evening (Sunday, 2/26/17 until midnight), I was informed that they had just 'pulled down' their dinner items ... at 9pm! They have 3 hours of operation yet, but a customer cannot order a dinner! I ordered instead a sub sandwich, a tossed salad (which is SUPPOSED to come with red cabbage and carrots ... for $1.95) and I requested blue cheese as my dressing, and a baked potato which is advertised as coming with shredded cheddar cheese. The salad came with ONLY LETTUCE (no red cabbage and no carrots) and NO BLUE CHEESE. So the customer is paying $1.95 for a SMALL amount of lettuce and no dressing! The potato was a shriveled, over-done 'brick,' with NO SHREDDED CHEDDAR CHEESE ... and for that, the consumer pays $2.50! When I called the next morning to complain, Dave, the manager, immediately became defensive and blamed the salad as a 'common' problem with his off-site salad makers. No apology ... just blamed it on someone else that he seemingly has no control over. REALLY! He accepts crumby service from his vendors, then handles complaints by pointing fingers! He offered NOTHING as an explanation for the inedible potato, just snapped that he'd send back my money for the salad and potato. Bottom line he offered NO APOLOGIES for ANY OF HIS POOR SERVICE, just got 'snappy.' NOTE: Since writing this review, I have received a nice apology note and a generous refund from Dave which is all I wanted in the first place!...
Read moreI ordered an Italian steak sandwich and salad from Ron's. The sandwich was inedible. The meat was very dry and very hard. I called to tell them and to ask them to send a different sandwich or give me credit but the manager said he couldn't do that because that would be like giving me a sandwich free. I told him I didn't want another Italian steak because it would be the same and my Chihuahua couldn't even chew the bite I gave her. He said if she ate it how could I send it back. I told him she did not eat it...she couldn't and I still had the whole sandwich. to give back. H very rudely said what do you want me to do. All he could do was send another one which would be inedible also. He said that's all I can do and I have two people on hold to attend to I and I said this is what I figured would happen. H e hung up. I have been going to Ron's for over 50 years but I will never go again and neither will my family or friends. Very, very...
Read moreI went into West Carrollton Ron’s for a go order standing there waiting I saw staff with bare hands pick up phone, use register and then handle all the ingredients for pizza! Icing on the cake delivery guy comes in (who I saw outside smoking) takes his dirty coat off uses phone and then proceeds to go in cooler and grabs hands full of cheese out of a bin to make pizzas with using his dirty hands!!!! I walked out without my order! I will never go in that Ron’s pizza again! I was disgusted with what I saw and they are serving food without proper hand washing and sanitary conditions.. I found out it’s a franchise not associated with the Miamisburg Ron’s and told by Miamisburg Ron’s manager that West Carrollton store doesn’t even use the ingredients that they use in Miamisburg... so why is it allowed to be named...
