I've been here a couple times with family. The first time I ordered the Fish n Chips, which I remember not being fond of. Mostly because I don't think it was cod fish. This mother's day we visited again. I got the Chicken Club this time. Wanted the spicy waffle fries as my side but, unfortunately, they were 86ed, so I went with the sweet potato fries. I also ordered Stuffed Mushrooms as an appetizer. Sad to say, I was disappointed. As the rest of my family were eating their salads, my stuffed mushrooms were nowhere to be found. They came out with my entree. A pet peeve of mine honestly. It's supposed to be an appetizer, not a side. Upon receiving the mushrooms I was genuinely confused as to what was being given to me. A hot bowl of melted mozzarella swimming in butter? I may not be a chef. But I know how stuffed mushrooms are prepared, and this was a different dish entirely. After excavating my rubbery, wet, "stuffed", mushrooms, it was time to give this Chicken Club a shot. The sandwich itself was indeed what I would call a chicken club. It wasn't the worst I've had. The chicken wasn't raw, but overcooked and dry isn't the best either. The cheese was unfortunately not melty and hot (probably because I was busy with my appetizer). The bacon was nice and crispy, but again, not hot. The chicken was the DRIEST chicken I've ever had in my life. Literally had to take a sip of my drink while chewing so I wouldn't choke/cough on it. The overly buttered Texas toast the Club was served on left my fingers as greasy as Paula Dean's, but did nothing to help with the sand that was served on it. I understand that it's a steak house. But not everyone in the family enjoys steak. And unfortunately for the vegan of the family, the only thing on the ENTIRE MENU that they could have was a plain baked potato. It was very depressing to watch. The wait staff was honestly the best part of the experience. They were very attentive and polite. Our modified dishes (due to allergies) all came out correct and without any issues, and our drinks were always full. The atmosphere is lack luster, but clean. To conclude....there's a better steakhouse down the road. Just suck it up and wait the extra 20 minutes. It'll be worth...
Read more3 Hostess were arguing amongst themselves as soon as we walked in. Took forever for them just to take us to a table, at which point I turned around and asked my husband, “Do you just want to leave?” Those same 3 hostess’ literally argued the entire time we were there. They walked back by where we were sat multiple times arguing over where to set people. We were never told about specials going on that day (which we would have gotten had we known) we actually overheard another waiter telling the table next to us what the daily special was after we had received our food and was eating. The waitress to the table next to us spilled a drink as she was delivering it to the table. Then she takes their payment back to their keypad and never cleans up the drink that she spilled. Another waitress walks through there almost falls, and the waitress that spilt it is literally laughing at her while she almost hits the floor. (She is secretly laughing because no one other than who was around, meaning us patrons seen her spill the drink). So then, at this point after she takes payment for the table, someone else almost falls, and then she goes and gets a wet floor sign in place is it between our table and the table, directly beside of us, which leaves no room for us to get out and not fall or the table next to us or anyone walking through there for that matter. We never hardly seen our waitress. And keep in mind, we were here on a Saturday around 3pm, they wasn’t busy! I went here about a year and a half ago and the service was horrible and I swear I’d never go back. My husband wanted to eat here again so we tried it again and it was even worse this time, we can’t wait for Cattleman's to come in pretty much right across the road because we will never go back to Reno’s. We waited for our waitress to come take our payment, she disappeared. I left cash on the...
Read moreAfter about a 20 minute wait I was seated and was promptly waited on. Ordering a side salad, porterhouse steak, baked potato and asparagus. The steak was cooked perfectly and the asparagus was tender. The potato was very good as well. The apple cheesecake was very colorful and quite good. Almost forgot it, lol. My waitress was attentive. I'd return for another meal here.
I returned another evening after the rush and ordered another porterhouse steak. The service was the best and the young man is an asset to the establishment. Prompt and courteous. I ordered a house salad with 1000 island which is fresh and cold. Nice! I ordered the Jumbo Shrimp appetizer with cocktail sauce and received it served on ice and you will not be disappointed! They are definitely JUMBO and good😋 The steak was good, cooked medium but not cooked quite as good as the last one I had there, but hey, I'm not terribly picky and it still qualified as medium. Asparagus was the side vegetable and it was tender and good. I will say this: Whenever I'm at a good steakhouse and if I answer Yes, when the waiter asks if I need Steak sauce, it's usually not good. However, my answer was No, I shouldn't need it. And to date, I've never needed steak sauce at Renos here in Morehead. Pretty darn good! I didn't try dessert this time but I've had a cheesecake of theirs before and it is delicious😋 Service:⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Food: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I recommend this establishment. Another visit: The Shrimp cocktail was very good. The Ribeye was perfect. No sauce needed. Asparagus and salad and the potatoe casserole...
