Chuck E. Cheese — Restaurant in Moreno Valley

Been here twice. My first experience here was disappointing, I brought my children here for the lunch buffet but they stopped putting food out at 1:30pm despite the buffet not ending until 2:00pm, so getting there around 1:15pm didn't work out too well for us, as by our second trip to the buffet, pickings were slim, and to top it off, the salad portion of the buffet has nothing for toppings and the dressings aren't labeled, so I put Ranch all over the salad instead of Ceasar.

Those are my more minor gripes, my second experience was my son's birthday party. They demanded I give them a 10 star review on their customer feedback form before they would start the party, they didn't fix the diet Pepsi machine that drips water all over you from the front of the machine, which is probably a health and sanitary issue as well, when I won the jackpot on a machine with my son, it didn't pay out, so I went to get an employee and my son kept playing, since the last play wasn't a jackpot (only 70 tickets), they wouldn't do anything. They kept trying to push additional food purchases for the party despite me telling them on the phone before hand and multiple times during the party that I wasn't going to purchase anything besides the party and cake. My mom also felt that her grandson was ripped off because they grouped all the parties together for the birthday song instead of giving each party individual attention, but perhaps that's just the way that works. But then, after my son earned over 3500 tickets and redeeming about 3000 of them on prizes, multiple employees wouldn't allow us to save the last 500 for another trip and said we HAVE to spend them now, or lose them.

My next party will definitely be at John's Incredible Pizza instead, or I'll take the time to drive to the next closest Chuck E. Cheese, but I don't look forward to visiting...

Haven’t been to chuck e cheese in 10 years but i had another baby now and he’s 2 years old. Chuck E. Cheese used to be the place you take your kids when you don’t have that much money. Buy a small pizza & arcade games and they can play for hours on the little jungle gym area. Now the original jungle gym area is gone and they have this new climbing and trampoline play area there but you have to pay an extra $15 per kid just to let them play. Not everyone with multiple kids can afford that. I for sure didn’t pay for it, just the arcade games only. So my kids plus all the other parents with multiple kids had to sit and pull our kids back as they had to watch kids play in this play area and wonder why they can’t go in. The play area is just there out in the open for all the poor families to stare at. We already came in and paid $45 for pizza and games and now we have to pay an extra $15 just for kids to play in the play area that should be free?! So now we take our kids to jumpin jammin in the mall. It’s $9-20 for the kids to play literally all day and the play climbing area is HUGE. Shame on Chuck E. Cheese for being so greedy. I have hundreds of old photos of myself and my 17 year old child there years ago at parties. So much memories back when it was affordable but now my new kids won’t have those memories at Chuck E. Cheese, all because of the greed. It’s sad actually. Why would you build a play area in the middle of Chuck E. Cheese and expect parents to pay $15 per child to play knowing most parents can’t afford that if they have lots of kids. Now the workers and parents have to be body guards and pull the kids out who don’t have the wrist bands to play in the play area with the rich...

So I literally just had the WORST experience ever here .. to the point that I VOW to never return ! First off let me start off by saying these games almost never work but these ppl steady want u to pay full price just for a bunch of games my kids can’t even play . Then someone stole my sons card so after looking for the lady for about 15min I went to the desk and told them what happen and that I couldn’t find the lady because of how crowded it was and they informed me they don’t have a policy for things like that and wasn’t willing to compensate me for my son or give me some of my money back even tho they are suppose to have ppl on the floor for reasons such as this ! So after not getting that problem resolved I told the lady ima just leave and wanted a refund on whatever was left on my receipt because it wasn’t fair that my son couldn’t play and all the other kids could since I didn’t have any extra money to buy him more points and they weren’t willing to give me any even tho I just spent almost 80$ in there . Then they had the nerves to tell me they DONT give refunds on food rather u have touched it or not ! I told them no where on my receipt does it say anything about not being able to have a refund and they didn’t have a solution for that either ! So even tho I didn’t touch the food I ordered cuz I was talking to them at the desk they still did NOTHING to help me ... and where not gonna even talk about how nasty the bathrooms was smh I could just go on and on but I would suggest johns incredible pizza at least u get ur money worth and the bathrooms are clean ! I will never come back here and I’m calling corporate First thing in the morning !!!!!!!!! Ugh...
