We stayed in this hotel for 5 nights. I agree with most reviewers that the hotel is nice and clean. However, we had a very unpleasant experience that one of our laptop computers, which we left in the room on the desk plugged in and charging, was stolen from the room during the day prior to the last night of our stay. The way it was handled by the stuff in the hotel was extremely unpleasant. Upon reporting the incident in the morning I was told immediately, without any checking, that no one from the hotel staff has entered our room all day yesterday. Upon reminding that I asked for clean towels when we were leaving the room yesterday morning and got them delivered to us during the day, which means that someone must have been in the room, we were told that there is no way that this could be checked because there are no cameras in the hotel. When I did locate the cameras, two of them in front of our room and told that to the staff, I was told that they have not been working since last week and that service is supposed to come and fix them tomorrow. They offered to compensate us for the loss in the amount they chose, i.e. for the 3 out of the 5 nights. When I mentioned that this amount does not cover the value of my laptop, not to mention the potential damage due to security risk as well as time and money needed to recover the content, I was told that hotel cannot compensate us for the full stay because we did use hotel services. It did not really matter to them that the services they provided were worth less than the damage we suffered by being robbed in their hotel. Eventually I asked for the hotel manager contact info, which I got, and I emailed General Manager this morning, describing briefly what has happened and asking to give me a call to talk about it. As of this time, which is late in the evening, I have not received any response. I did report the whole case to the Moreno Valley police department. Based on this experience, I think that this hotel is not safe and that staff and management does not truly care about it. I would strongly recommend staying...
Read moreI'm a government employee who's company paid a pretty penny for my family and our dogs to stay at this establishment for a few weeks before our home was ready for us to move in. We've always stayed in LQ Hotels everywhere the Military and Govt. Job has sent us and always enjoyed our stay. Unfortunately this location in Moreno Valley has a few issues. First and foremost, I have had to personally tell the front desk staff numerous times that there was a homeless woman attempting to get into the cars in the back parking lot and that there are people trying to get into the back of the hotel without room keys. The first time our room was cleaned we came back to our door being left open after been gone for a few hours, luckily none of our items were taken and our dogs were still in the room. There isn't anywhere for dogs to utilize the restroom. There aren't even doggy bags or a specific place to dispose of your dog's waste. The parking lot is always full and most of the cars are other local business's over flow or people from the area who are hanging out with their friends in the parking lot. As a paying hotel guest I would suggest parking passes or something like that to ensure there is adequate parking for patrons. I spoke to the staff who informed me there are 59 spaces and 59 rooms. My family came with two cars as many families do, this is a huge issue and we were told to park two stores over which I didn't feel comfortable doing but had no other option. My family has been approached numerous times in our stay here by people peddling for money in the back parking lot which has made my family feel very uncomfortable and even contemplate staying at a different establishment. The staff has been very friendly and the breakfast has been nice but unfortunately we won't be staying at this location again or allowing our family from out of town to do so either due to all of...
Read moreI loved it here, the free breakfast, the nice employee Kathy and Kierra. But there was one employee that was so, so, so rude to me and my family. Her name is Anna. She was rude to my wife. And my kids. Just because since she's the manager she feels like she can do anything she wants. For example, my daughter was watching TV when she had heard a noise outside the door so she decided to check on what it was, turns out it was Anna. My daughter said she didn't think anything about so she was gonna go back to watching TV but, that's when she saw Anna make a mean face (meaner than how it looks naturally) and shake her head. My daughter was confused since she hadn't had done anything to Anna so you know me and my wife were just as confused as my daughter. But today when it was checkout we were gonna get another day so we can have time to get all our things together. So Anna was like ok but you need to pay the animal fee so my wife said ok no problem, and that is when Anna said "I know about the birds and the other cat" (yes we had more animals but it's because we had to get out right away of the house we moved from and did not have anywhere to take them) so my wife to not make any problems apologized to Anna but then my wife asked "how do you know about my other animals?" So that's when Anna was like "I didn't see a do not disturb sign so me and a house keeping lady went in there". But my question is why does a manager have to go in there?. And I specifically put. NO HOUSE KEEPING on our contract. And tell me why no one cleaned if they were gonna go in there and clean. All I'm saying is if you're planning on staying there, watch out for nosey Anna she will invade you and your...
