Absolutely Unacceptable Experience for Wheelchair Users
I waited at Denny’s for over two hours—from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM—and left without ever being seated. I’m in a wheelchair and was told they only have one accessible table in the entire restaurant. Not only is that shocking, but the front desk staff flat out said they would not accommodate by removing a chair or adjusting any other table.
Meanwhile, they continued to seat other parties that came in well after us and walk ins. While we just sat there waiting. It was made very clear that accommodating a wheelchair was not a priority for them. If you’re going to make it this difficult for disabled patrons to dine in, you might as well post a sign that says “Wheelchairs Not Welcome.”
I left feeling humiliated and frustrated. This kind of treatment is unacceptable. I will continue to share this experience and make sure others in the community, corporate and the city know that Denny’s does not accommodate people in wheelchairs. Everyone deserves equal access—and Denny’s...
Read moreThe septic line smells awful when you walk in... immediately made me queasy and not hungry. Smell stayed persistent near the entrance. Service was slow though I understand they were busy. Tea was bad and had to wait 20 minutes until food was brought out just to change the drink. Quality of the food was good though. Just service in general not so good. On top of the sewage smell the entire time dinning.... Revised to give another chance on 1/22/2024... service was lacking. Was seated fast, ordered drink but then waited 10 minutes just to put order in, then another 25 minutes just to get food (for 1 person), food was not what was ordered. Ordered Denver omlette with no onions. I got a ham and cheese omlette, I was not told at ANY point that apparently the onions is mixed with bellpeppers so removing onions also removes bellpeppers hence being only ham and cheese omlette... thats ridiculous first off, secondly how do you not tell the customer when ordering that would be result. I will never come back to this...
Read moreSo I normally tend to find restaurants outside of my city, but decided to give this spot a chance and it has been a tradition for me to go at least once a week now I’m always up in the middle of the night and Denny’s is of course 24 hours and of course I’ve had a reoccurring waitress, Connie She is absolutely amazing. She’s always on her own and everything’s to the tea or above and beyond I couldn’t ask for a better at home spot and I tend to eat alone and take myself out and it’s not too busy and even when it is, the environments always very neutral controlled and it seems like everyone’s just happy. I definitely get a smile and see other people Smile often when entering this establishment another reason I’ve made it my place to invite others and give them a little piece of home and hospitality. I appreciate this Denny’s and the corporate Denny’s altogether for the times that you guys are open for the hospitality that you guys bring in the tummy that you feel. Thank you for such an...
