Tacos La Bufadora — Restaurant in Moreno Valley

On 4th of July i ordered a couple of items for my family to eat including 2 campechana tostadas. This was an order over 45 dlls.

The tostadas were rancid. So i asked the cashier if she could replace the 2 tostadas( not the meal just the tostadas) for chips since they were no good. And she said she could not replace them because they had already given me the 2 tostadas so they couldn't do anything to replace it even if they are bad. I asked to speak with the person inchsrge and she went to the back and said he said the same thing. I asked her for a ate to take my food and she came out wit a 4 inch olate and aluminum foil. I asked how she thought i wss going to be hable to take my food in that plate to which she said " i can't do anything else for you. if you wantchips you need to buy them ".

At thos point i was really upset and demanded that the person incharge come and talk to me. He finally came out and said he couldn't do anything for me. I asked if he was serious and he said all he could do is talk to his delivery company for bringing bad tostadas. After taking to him for a bit he finally said " we don't normally give plates, but i will go ahead and give you one".

I placed my food in the to go plate. I was was mad and ready to leave. My wife went to try to by a order of chips and she tpld them that that is no way to do customer service. (We both have experience with customer service positions) i came back ond told them it was ok i t is not the first time I come here but it is the first time i het treated lime this and that this will make my decision easier nest time I consider eating here gain. I lso would be speaking with the owner ( since my friend knows him).The guy in charge said he would give us the chips without paying even thought it was not there fault . They gave us some chips and we left.

This is no way to treat a customer. Specially lver some chips. Specially when im giving them back the tostada...

This place has the best fish tacos around, hands down. I wish I would have taken some pics, but every time I try, they disappear into my mouth. It's a good problem to have, though. I've only been here for their fish taco special, which happens every Wednesday and Saturday, but I've been here 3 times in about a month or so. I live about 20 minutes away and it's worth the drive just for this. At 1.75 per taco, it's a steal IMO. They use a very light and crispy batter on their fish, which is some kind of white fish (not very fishy at all). Whatever sauce they use is tangy and tasty. It's served with the usual cabbage and tomatoes.

Their salsa bar is always clean, which is surprising for a place that is very busy on these days. Usually, places like this have a very messy salsa bar, but not here. It's not very fancy: Green and red salsas (the latter is a Chipotle-based spicy one, which is my favorite with the tacos), pickled onions, limes and pickled carrots, all of which are great accents to their food.

While they have fountain drinks, they also sell bottled sodas and beers, if that's your thing.

All in all, this place is worth it just for the fish tacos. Come on a weekend and you might find my family and I chowing down on some. ...

Me and my mother have been going to this place since my childhood, obviously things change and ownership change. But this just happened out of the blue and completely broke our hearts. You see me and my mother came to Tacos la Bufadora to eat, but I had brought my own food. Along side a I had a ice cold sprite from McDonald's. Weeks before we came we had went and with the same intentions, to go eat, but I brought my own lunch and drink. They had no problem with it but the cashier and women giving out orders would stare us down. Now back to today we went over and as soon as we entered and sat down they told us we couldn't have diferent drinks/food if they weren't from the restaurant. The cashier told my mother that no drinks weren't allowed, I mean they literally have no sign or policy stating their rules agaisnt other fast food places?! It was hot out and I couldn't bring my own sprite drink? Tables were dirty, cilantro and asada smeared on the chairs and the cashier gave us attitude. Wouldn't recommend if bringing something that's NOT...
