We came here for my sisterās wedding party suits. Initially, the groom had a decent experience getting fitted for his suit, they had him try everything on, it was pinned to his liking, and then tailored.
Unfortunately, they did not give that same experience to the other 6 guys in the wedding party. When they went to get their pants/shirts/vests, they were measured with a tape measure (which is not the way professional tailors fit clothes), stuff was ordered, and when it arrived, refused to fix the excessively large clothes they ordered.
My husbandās pants were so large they literally fell off his legs while standing. Wally refused to give any solutions to the problems, stated they were 100% the right size because he was, of course, āa professional tailorā, charging more than the original quote to the groom for alterations, which in his words would all look bad because there was no way to fix the pants.
To top it off, Wally got so tired of our questions when trying to fix/find solutions to our problem per the wedding was in 3 weeks, that he threatened to call security on us. Iām a 4ā10ā small framed woman and Wally was threatened by me even being in his store.
My husband of course wrote a review about his experience and was later bribed with a new correctly fitted suit if he in return took down his 1 star review.
To think these people have such horrible customer service abilities but have a 4.8 star rating is astounding. It makes sense though after knowing they bribe people to take down negative reviews so they can continue to screw people over in the future because people will think they are getting 4.8 star worthy services.
Despite World of Suits horrible quality in materials, inability to offer solutions, and by far the worst customer service Iāve experienced, the wedding was a success.
*BE CAREFUL of this store! Look anywhere else, itāll probably be better. *
Thankfully, we went to a real tailor and had the pants fixed without any problems or hesitation from well trained staff @cruzcustomtailors...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWell as someone who never leaves reviews, I think Wally from world of suits definitely earned one from me.
Hereās the quick bullet point version: Sold us poorly fitting pants, and shirts, and insisted about 30 times that he was a professional and they they were correct (per an actual professional tailor I ended up having to take the pants to, they were not correct).
Refused to offer any solutions to any of the poorly fitted clothes.
Didnāt understand or refused to understand a basic question regarding maybe other brands working better for some bodies better than others.
Threatened to call security on my wife and I because he didnāt understand the question and believed we were not worth his time after explaining how the bride is upset with the fit of the groomsmenās clothing.
Overall, a horrible experience. And thatās just my personal experience. Others from the part experienced belittling, attitude, and rude comments as well.
Between the attitude, the inability to provide solutions to any of our concerns or issues, to threatening to have security kick us out because he didnāt understand a question, I wouldnāt trust Wally to make me look good on a date, let alone a full wedding party.
Final point, if you have to keep saying āIām a professionalā to every question/concern, that isnāt very professional.
Oh, and when we ordered the clothes, Wally was being trained, so not exactly sure how āprofessionalā he is when just 2 weeks prior he was being taught how to measure someoneās neck.
0/10 would not recommend or trust unless you love baggy clothes, and being threatened to be removed by asking too many questions, and mentioning the bride of a party...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAbsolutely awful service. Be careful about the other reviews. I was fooled into thinking that World of Suits would be a reliable option. I now believe the reviews are less than authentic. I decided to go to World of Suits to get suits for myself and my six groomsmen. I was helped by both Justin and Wally. We were measured and had custom orders placed to get the pants in the proper color. Unfortunately, we still had several cases of poor fitting materials, including pants and a shirt. They clearly measured us incorrectly because it wasnāt even close. When we tried to find a solution, Wally insisted that the pants fit fine (again it wasnāt even close) and that we should just ignore it. When we insisted that they didnāt fit right, he offered to tailor them again, but at an even higher price than we originally paid. It seems that we were purposefully measured incorrectly in order to convince us to spend money on unnecessary tailoring. This was the last straw. The damage had been done. My wedding is in just over a week and now we have to scramble to fix Justin and Wallyās mistakes. On top of all of this, both men were incredibly rude to my groomsmen. Justin called one of my groomsmen fat and insisted that he order a larger size because he will be even heavier by the time of the wedding. And Wally tried to attack the integrity of my best man (my brother) when we brought up the issue of the suits. Please exercise caution when...
