This past week I walked in and the employee cheerfully asked, “The usual?” I smiled and said, “Yes, but there’s no maple bars.” She replied, “One second. I have one in the back for you.” The employee knew I would be arriving for my usual order, a maple bar and Vietnamese iced coffee, so she held onto a donut for me. In a world that sometimes makes me feel invisible, that moment will stick with me forever.

Honestly, I didn’t expect much going into any regular donut shop nor do I care to write any kind of review unless it’s got my attention… well RNB Doughnuts you grasped mine. Let’s talk about how fresh and tasty these donuts were. This might sound a bit cliche but literally every single bite melts in your damn mouth! Usually donuts are or appear stale by midday but not here. I think what truly sets them apart from other donut shops is that they actually care about their products as well as the service they provide to their customer in catering to their sweet tooth. Take for example the uniqueness and time spent on designing a donut whether it’s for a certain holiday or just for fun. I even asked if they do special orders and they do for as long as give them a day or two in advance!!! I call it my local mini Porto’s Bakery lol! They also serve many other guilty pleasures like Gelato ice cream which comes in many different flavors. They make smoothies AND healthy shakes too! In addition they make sandwiches and OMG, the sandwich is really good. Always fresh. I know this because I work around the corner and a quick stop at RNB during lunch fixes my craves for the day. Have eaten some of the donuts, gelato, and drank some smoothies as well and it was a great tasting experience for me not only that but I can most definitely taste the richness of the donuts, and the green juice is absolutely incredible and very refreshing especially after long days would recommend if looking for more than just the looks of a donut they focus on their taste which I truly enjoy. And the amount of options to choose from the smoothies always satisfies me.
