Top Seafood Restaurant — Restaurant in Moreno Valley

I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. If I could give it no stars, I would.

Yesterday, I made an online order. One star off for not allowing me to pay online. It only gave me the option to pay when I pick up the food. FYI, online ordering system forces you to tip them (I wish I didn’t give them a tip, but I gave them 10% on arrival because I figured it was a lot of food)

Secondly, when I went to pick up the food at 2pm (because my online order said it would be ready by 1:45pm), the food was not at all ready. In fact, the cook didn’t even start on the order. The person in the front didn’t even know what my order was. Luckily, I had a screenshot to show them. My food was ready at 220pm. Another star removed for waiting.

I ordered 2 seafood spicy soup, 1 vegetable chow mein and 1 seafood rice noodles. They did not make the seafood rice noodles; instead they made 1 seafood fried rice. I attribute this mistake because they rushed the cooking. One more star removed.

Last star removed was for the bland taste. When we finally sat down for our seafood meal, it was not good in fact, there was no taste. The seafood spicy soup was a complete waste of money (it’s mostly imitation crab), the mussels tasted overcooked and there was maybe a few pieces of imitation calamari (no shrimp or fish). The chow mein and fried rice was so bland (I think they literally forgot the salt), my husband had to put salt and my brother had to put soy sauce.

Overall, it was a headache. This restaurant needs to change the name because it is not a seafood restaurant. It’s bad. My husband wanted to go back and return the food, but at the end of the day, it would not have made a difference. It would have just been wasted food.

Basically, this was our first and last time eating from this restaurant....

Outstanding! My mother and I ended up coming in here on thanksgiving since it was the only place open. (We'd never eaten here before) The customer service was phenomenal, the food which was prepared especially to our liking (my mother had had oral surgery the day before)was outstanding. And the pricing was so unbelievable reasonable esp. for the quality and portion sizing. I was also able to get this food all the way across town in traffic and the breading on the chicken was not even the slightest bit soggy. We were all so impressed!

Now i realized there was a possibility the freshness and quality of service could differ slightly because it was thanksgiving and they were not as busy however we decided to test that theory and came back on a busy Friday night. The food was still amazing better then any chinese food place in moreno valley and he still walked the order to my mothers car!

First let me say that the people that run the place & the food are AMAZING! Top Seafood offers a variety of great dishes on the menu. I've tried a number of the dishes and each one had its own special flavor and they all add up to delicious. The prices are very fair and competitive. Everything is superb and cooked from scratch by a very dedicated & professional chef. As busy as he gets he makes sure to come out of the kitchen to greet the patrons. Maggie, the hostess is equally fantastic. She is kind and welcomes all with a sincere greeting and a smile.
