would not recommend working there because they want the pickers to be able to pick 100 items an hour while driving a cherry picker and to have picked 800 items by the end of the day.. and also the people that are Responsible for assigning pick task are called coordinators and they for sure play favorites by assigning pick task with big numbers to certain people they like. And pretty much all the cherry pickers there are very old and something wrong with them.example I drove multiple cherry pickers there that had wires that were exposed or not properly fused together. And for people who need to miss work for something important or an emergency they do have a very very strict attendance policy and will only allow you to have one unexused absence before they write you up and fire you. Also I wanted to touch more on the safety aspect of driving the Cherry pickers there at floor & decor as most people know that I've been working in warehouse for a while if you find anything wrong with the cherry picker while doing your daily inspection that piece of equipment is not supposed to be used but the managers there don't care and will ask you to drive the cherry picker that has not been fixed properly example I drove a cherry picker that had two wires fused together by Scotch tape. And I wanted to touch more on the amount of items they expect you to pick expecting someone to pick 100 items an hour while driving a cherry picker with lots of other forklifts and Cherry pickers around them is an impossible number to ask anybody especially if they want you to pick 800 items by the end of the day it's just not realistic. So I say that to say this I work there only a short 2 months I was on time every day didn't miss work and worked very hard and gave it 200% but I got laid off because I could not hit the 100 picking Target. So I say this please don't waste your time by getting a job there and investing your own time working there because if you don't hit the picking Target you're going to be fired look for a job somewhere else at a better Warehouse like Amazon or home Depot or Lowe's those are good...
Read moreMy experience to date with floor& decor has not been a happy one. I purchased bamboo flooring last February 2020. Delivery was not on time as promised. It took approximately 3 months to get. They blamed it on the pandemic for the delay. I ordered the stair bull nose and the supplier sent the wrong product. I reordered and waited an additional 8 weeks to get. When I finally got the product, we let acclimate for another 6 weeks. In the meantime, I was without a floor for months. The living room was finally installed after proper acclamation. 10 days later, the flooring was separating. My contractor had to pull everything up to fix the flooring in my living room, formal dining room, kitchen and family room. Baseboards had to be removed and many had to be replaced. All during this time I have been trying to resolve this problem through the local store. We've talked with several managers who said the only way to contact their problem resolution department is through e-mail. There are no phone contacts or they won't give out that information. My contractor had to use flooring I had purchased that was ear marked for my upstairs, approximately 14 boxes to repair the downstairs. This flooring is Not Cheap! The flooring was Defective and I had to pay for repair. Floor & Decor has not responded to date to help resolve my particular dilemma. I have to purchase new product to complete my up stairs from them because they have the only contract to the manufacturer. No one else can get this product! Read moreI don't advise you to shop here, First off we entered the store looking for tile, we went through choosing 5 different tiles until the store said they had enough tile to meet our needs. we chose the tile, the material, and proceeded to go on with the purchase. The Sales manager "Esteban" who helped us out through the whole purchase, a SALES Manager took 1 hour and a half alone to look for a random delivery company to deliver the tile to our home which alone was 500 dollars and unorganized. We paid 8,250 dollars only to receive a receipt that resembled a McDonalds receipt. Not even a printed paper stating formerly what we purchased and the delivery date etc. 5 days go by and we decide to call the store to get an update on our order status. The store proceeds to put us on hold for 45 minutes plus only to let us know that we still need to wait for the product to reach the store.
