Boxseat Sports Grill — Restaurant in Morgan Hill

If I could give zero stars, I would. My recent visit to Boxseat Sports Grill was an absolute disaster from start to finish.

When we arrived, the place was practically empty—except for one person sitting at the bar. That should have been our first red flag. After waiting around with no service, we were finally informed that the only thing available was fried appetizers because their kitchen wasn’t working. No one bothered to tell us upfront, and there was zero apology for the inconvenience.

Even worse, the entire restaurant smelled like natural gas—strong enough to be alarming. Yet, the staff seemed completely indifferent, making no effort to acknowledge or address it. If there was ever a reason to walk out immediately, it was that.

Between the lack of food, the non-existent service, and the blatant disregard for customer safety, this place is a total joke. I won’t be back, and honestly, I’d be surprised if this place stays in business much longer. If you value your time, your money, and your health, go...

I had an amazing experience at The Boxseat Sports Grill! The staff was friendly, attentive, and made me feel right at home from the moment I walked in. The interior is incredibly unique and well-decorated, with a giant boxing ring set right in the center of the restaurant, which adds a really fun and cool vibe. It’s a perfect spot for any sports fan, with pool tables, foosball, and TVs showing all the major games.

I ordered the Warrior Burger with garlic fries, and they were absolutely delicious! The burger was cooked perfectly—juicy and full of flavor, and the garlic fries had just the right amount of seasoning. Whether you’re there to catch a game, enjoy a good meal, or hang out with friends over some pool, this place has it all....

Cool little sports bar setup the bartender was playing some chill music too which was a nice change of pace from going in a bar playing the same top 100 of the 70s-90s over an over again. The Brown Ale they had on tap was a tasty beer, which is funny because when i went to the brewery downtown that made the same beer i wasnt enthralled but here it was great. Ordered THE BOSS burger with criss cut fries, TASTY BURGER, slightly cooked more than i prefer but the flavor was perfect. Will definitley be back to try more of the food! Both the Bartender and Sever were really nice and friendly and conversational....
