Who's to blame? Should I have not ordered Chipotle 30 minutes before close or should Chipotle serve Chipotle standard food right up until close? I believe both parties are at fault. I got complacent with time. I thought I was going to have more of it. I guess that's how I always feel, that's why I'm usually late to everything. My internal clock needs to start matching up with actual clocks or I'm constantly going to be late to the party. That's clearly where I need to improve, but Chipotle can make some adjustments too. Their burrito bowl didn't taste like their typical burrito bowl. I may have ordered 30 minutes before close, but that's no excuse. If I go to the last showing of a movie, I expect that last showing to be the same as the previous showings. I don't want it to be in black and white or have subtitles if that wasn't the standard for the previous showings. Same goes for burrito bowls at Chipotle. There should be no difference in the quality of the first and last burrito bowl served that day. If there is a difference in quality, there should also be a difference in price. I'm willing to sacrifice the quality of a burrito bowl if it means I don't have to pay as much. It would be awesome if my therapist did that too. If she told me I could schedule an appointment at the beginning of the day and have her undivided attention at full price or I could have the last appointment of the day at half the price with her divided attention...I may choose the second option. That means I could use the money I saved in therapy to buy more burrito bowls. I'd just need to make sure to buy them at the beginning of the day. My therapist doesn't do that though, she offers high quality service 100% of the time. Chipotle may be able to learn a thing or...
Read moreAlways out of something. They are regularly out of guac and occasionally out of cheese. Tonight they were out of chips. At 6:00 pm.
Takes forever now to get an order as they can't seem to figure out a way to manage providing online delivery services and walk-ins. I'm pretty sure they prefer the online delivery services because I could see something like 2:1 online orders to walk-ins getting filled. The issue being the online order has one person taking care of everything whereas walk-ins have to wait. So one person disappears to wherever it is they disappear to and the other person just stands there.
The burrito sat forever with the meat on it waiting for someone to come and finish making it. Pretty sure it was tepid by the time the order was finally filled because it was cold by the time I got home.
I used to be a regular. Now I go maybe a few times year.
Five Guys is immediately next door and very reliable. I go there now. It's too much work to go...
Read moreThis location is inconsistent in providing the quality product they are capable of. Sometimes, everything is fresh and in healthy proportions. Other times they are out of key ingredients which are part of the meal I made the trip to their restaurant for, to the point we've left and gone somewhere else instead. Meats, guacamole, lettuce, chips, drinks - sometimes they are unprepared on more than one item. This points to a management problem where they are not on top of inventory/ordering, or not paying attention to when they should put the next batch on the grill (BEFORE you run out - early enough in advance so it is ready before you reach the bottom of the last container). So, basic stuff that shouldn't happen. Like I said, it can be great, or you find they are not prepared to serve what they advertise. I pretty much always have a *plan B" in mind just in case. They have been 5 star in the past, but that's been quite some...
