Five Guys — Restaurant in Morgan Hill

The young child you see in the background is an actual employee there or at least was. I went to this restaurant as I normally do with my father and my father in-law and this "CHILD" was not in his uniform wandering around talking louder than anyone there. At one point he was talking about how he was suspended from working for a day and didn't give a "FK" he was going to work for free anyways. He asked one of the two managers working there for the LAN line phone. After they approved and gave him the phone he sat here in the corner with not work clothes on yet making a personal phone call to one of his "boys" as he put it and was cussing left and right....all of this happened while in earshot of a young kids baseball team that came in for a nice hot, typical, enjoyable, 5 Guys lunch. Although this was not the typical experience. After this rude young man got off the phone he went around to the back and let him self in and got dressed. He walked up to the line after washing his hands to try to start helping with making and preparing food where he was met by an older gentleman that I was told was the manager. The manager kept hand gesturing that you cant be here but never said to actually go. Then young man got annoyed and said "f* it" and left the food preparation line and walked around to the front of the store in an extremely dirty uniform and started harassing the clients by asking them stupid questions and engaging in pointless conversations, disturbing them while they are trying to eat. I asked for the boys working behind the counter who the manager was and then young man said that he himself and the older man working behind the counter were it....I asked why do you let this kind of behavior happen here. I got no response and then asked the younger manager who the owners were and what their phone number was? He younger manager intentionally gave me the wrong #..I called it and found out it was wrong and then walked back and and asked for the real phone #....I finally got it and it was another managers #. The managers name was JOSE. Jose didn't want to give me the owners # until I told him how upset we were and what had happened. He finally gave me one of the owners #. I contacted him and told him how unprofessional this experience was and that we will not return "EVER................" if this rude, young man is still working here. The owner agreed and said that he would leave where ever he was and head down to the store immediately to take care of the situation. If this guy is here on your next visit........turn around and...

The burgers were served hot and perfectly cooked but were missing several of the toppings I asked for. It was not the fault of the person cooking, nor the person finishing them. The girl who took my order simply neglected to add them even though I told her 3 times. I really don't mind because the toppings they did add were plenty and exceeded my expectations.

I would definitely recommend going here as the price is similar to any other similar restaurant these days, but the food is so much better than other burger restaurants. If you order large fries, they pretty much fill the cup you purchased and then dump a ton more in the bag as well.

This location also has two of those custom soda fountains where you can get any base soda and add whatever flavor to it that you want. This allows for a near endless combination of drinks which you may refill as much as you want on any single visit.

Lastly, they have all you can eat peanuts as an appetizer while you wait for your order. While I personally don't do it, iirc, you can just shuck them and throw the shells on the floor. I feel like it is far easier to just clean up after yourself as soon as your food order is ready.

When I Go there I Leave Satisfied. I Know I Got My Money's Worth. I Like That They Have a Tip Jar. They Work Hard. Food is Made Well. Also I Enjoy the Music. Bathroom are Handicap accessable Large Enough an Very Clean. You Go Up to the Counter to Order. Your Number they Call is on Your Receipt. Remember your Food was Just Cooked. So When You UnWrap It Give it A Little Time So It is Not to Hot For Your Mouth or Your Childrens Mouths. Oh an They Have a Drink Machine. Sometimes Parking Can Be a Little Crowded. There is a Big Parking Area Behind Five Guys Enjoy Your Tine There. Average Time There I Would Say is Around 35 Min for Myself I Usually Go With Someone...
