Sidetracked Brewery — Restaurant in Morganton

Went to Sidetracked last night for a date night and we had alot of fun - it was a perfect evening!

Bought a Greenway special from Greenway Pizza and brought it to Sidetracked for dinner.

The bartender was very nice and personable and he suggested an excellent beer. We ate our pizza and listened to 80s music from the jukebox.

Afterwards we played a few games of trouble, my wife beat me 2 games to 1, then played a couple of games of Pac-Man. We finished the night looking at the different things people have written and drawn on the 101 Jenga blocks that are on the tables.

We learned Sidetracked has beefed up the calender with activities almost every night. We are looking forwards to trivia night on Thursday nights. The bar tender also told us they're adding more food trucks to the schedule.

There is plenty to do and it made for a perfect date night!!

We told my daughter and her boyfriend about our experience. They live in Boone and they're big fans of the different breweries in town with Appalachian Brewery, "AB," being their favorite. They're excited to try Sidetracked and are coming down in the next few weeks to go with us.

My wife and I go out to eat Mexican every Friday night and we plan on suggesting bringing our Mexican food there... could be the start of a new Friday night tradition.

With Catawba closing I think people will enjoy a change and Sidetracked will not disappoint. All I have to say is for those looking for something different - PINBALL!!

My suggestion is give Sidetracked a try, you may find it to be a new place to go to! We're glad we did and are planning on continuing to go there!

We stopped in to take a break on the way to Valle Crusis to avoid Boone. Super friendly folks, Tyson, Kelly and the owner brewer Joseph gave us great recommendations and made us feel welcomed. Their beers are quite tasty, we tried a few styles all were solid beer flavored beer. They don't serve food, but there is a deli a couple of doors down with a nice selection of sandwiches. They do have popcorn and other snacks. Another interesting thing is they have old school pinball games. There is some outdoor seating. Not sure how parking is, we went early and found a spot...
