Green Street Grille — Restaurant in Morganton

Perhaps they were understaffed in the kitchen...but really weren't all that busy in the dining room. Food took a very long time to get to the table. The food wasn't exactly as we ordered it, however a discount was offered. Food came before napkins and silverware. Had to ask for it. Hu Taste of food, other than onion rings, was acceptable with one of the meals and horrible with the other. Nothing to really write home about. And probably won't return unless their menu changes. Felt like "bar food". Did not eat the salad bar. But, if I'm going to have a salad and spend $12 for it I'll probably get it (as a local option) from Panera. Came in tonight it’s only the second time we have been. Food was great first time and this time! Tonight they only had 2 people running the whole restaurant as a fellow restaurant employee I salute that work they were putting in because that takes a lot!!!! The lady that took our order was very nice! She was struggling though having to do so much but kept a really good attitude as did the cook. The order was messed up when she was ringing it in because she had so many other things to do but fixed everything with a smile on her face. I couldn’t give 5 stars for waiting 45 mins to a hour for our food. I hope the two employees that were there tonight get the recognition they deserve and pop a cold...

Food was hot, plentiful, delicious. Hostess was pleasant and prompt. Waitress was pleasant, dressed appropriately, no negative accessories, tattoos, or mannerisms, worked without stopping the whole time we were there . Kitchen noise was loud, but nothing offensive, just much different atmosphere from "Maria's", a popular restaurant which was previously in that building. Menu was salads, wraps, and sandwiches all around 10.00 each. May have some dinner plates but I don't remember seeing them. Easy access, tables and booths, with back room for groups. Service fee (?) On bill. Customers of all ages, cultures, and appearances seemed...
