Let me just start by saying I was so amazed at how professional and accommodating this experience was, with a 1ft 2in tall layered cake and a dozen cupcakes ordered/collaboration just 10 days before i needed it! Brittany was the best custom decorator I have ever gone through to get any order from in my 26 yrs! The flavors were on point, the colors were vibrant and didn't stain like fake food coloring when you eat it, nothing was ruined or messed up by the time I got to my party's location (it took 2hrs). She took time to give me pointers on what I and my family continue to think ARE amazing prices for the effort and work she put into this one. The communication on payments, pick-up time, and even details of the order it's self was above any store or bakery I've ever experienced. Just a simple hometown vibe to this wonderful business that creates such elaborate and unique orders to your specific details and special days! I ordered a dozen cookies and a birthday cake. The heavenly hash cookies were incredible. They were soft, fresh, and so yummy. My family and I tore them up. The cake, however (one layer banana pudding cake, the other layer carrot cake), felt rushed and seemed to use prepackaged cake mix which was disappointing for the price. I was a little confused by the pie/custard layer that was separate from the cake and pudding layers. Texturally, that pie layer was almost rubbery. The carrot cake layer was a little dry, didn't have actual fresh or grated carrots, no currants -- it was missing the things that make a good carrot cake. It was disappointing because this was the first birthday cake I've had in over 30 years and I was hoping for it to be really special. But to end positively, Brittany was lovely and her love for cartoon characters made her a woman after my own heart. So disappointing and strange for a supposedly professional service! I ordered a gluten free cake for my friend's birthday. I had questions as I don't order a lot of cakes. My last question was whether she would write on the cake "Happy Birthday". She said no. I decided to just get a cake topper that says Happy Birthday, so I asked a little more about what the cake would look like so I could choose the right topper. I had my phone off for awhile to get a break from it, and when I turned it back on she had accused me of saying the cake would be ugly, canceled my order, and refunded my money. I was very disappointed as now I have to figure out where to get a cake!
