Buffalo Wild Wings — Restaurant in Morganton

Unless you have 2 hours of your evening to waste, avoid like the plague. Came in last Monday, and the place didn't appear that busy, plenty of empty tables, but was still told a 15 minute wait. After waiting for close to 30 minutes we left. Came back this Monday night to give it another chance and same experience. Place wasn't that busy yet again, empty tables all around. Wasn't given a time on wait but did get my name took down. I assumed it would be a pretty short wait. I proceeded to wait 20 minutes. During this 20 minutes about 20 people left the restaurant, and only one couple was sat down. After 20 mins I asked the hostess, who was very rude btw, to get the manager for me. I waited 10 minutes to speak to the manager with no luck. Was finally told there was a only one cook working and that I would probably have to wait another 30 minutes. Keep in mind the place is about half empty at this point. I finally gave away the gift card I had for the place and left. During my wait I saw 20 to 30 people leave the place and once again only one couple sat down. Also saw about 15 people walk in and leave because of the wait. The service at this location has never been great, but it's decent food and a good atmosphere, it seems however the hostesses and managers in the evening are just refusing to sit and serve people in a half empty restaurant. I will not return and would caution anyone else from going there. Plenty of other places to eat in Morganton without waiting forever for a table and feeling like an inconvenience...

I went to BWW with a group of friends on Sat Oct 22nd @ 12pm. We went to watch the PPV view UFC fight, The PPV started at 2pm we were there early to watch the prelims. When we asked the manager to put the surround sound on for the fight. She had the audacity to tell us we were the only table there for the fight. This was a bold face lie as there were many tables at the bar and at tables across the dinning room including the table that was directly across from us. The manager was sitting at the bar watching football the entire time. I have worked at many restaurants in my day and if the manager just sat at the bar all day she wouldn't be working there long. She stated that the unranked LSU tigers and Ole Miss was a bigger attraction there in Morganton NC. lol Ok at this point she was annoyed that there was a fight on and it was obvious. We happened to walk to the patio and discovered that the surround sound was on out there so we left our table told the table across from us that it was on outside and not too much longer after that the patio was full with about 30 people outside watching the fight as the manager still just sat at the bar and watched us all out there. To beat it all our waitress asked her multiple times to changes it but she wouldn't the waitress was very nice and did everything she could. This post is directed solely at the manager...

Ok.... So I am a server myself and i2 just cant stand to have a bad experience but today I did. When i arrived and entered i was walked by 6 different times by 2 different servers and told each time "we'll be right with you" and i can also understand you may be short staffed but if they would actually hire (and i know they don't hire like they should cause i applied and they never called) then maybe it wouldn't have been such a bad experience. So after it took almost 10 mins to get sit to a table. We got our drinks and then it took another 10 mins before our server ever came to see us. We made our order. And then my niece didnt get her sauce with her chicken. Then 5 mins after her food arrived my nephew got his food. Then another 15 mins went by before i hot my food. The food was pretty good untill the end when i was totally grossed the efffff out by the trays that our food was served on (I didnt see it at 1st cus the trays are covered by a paper) because they had dried old food and sauces allllll over them like they had not been actually washed but just shoved in the dish washer at the last min. What was this cook thinking when they decided to use thia dirty...
