El Gordo — Restaurant in Morristown

My boyfriend and I visited the food truck at this location yesterday and were so surprised about how flavorful and the quality of the tacos! We tried the chicken, steak, chorizo, and pulled pork tacos. We initially ordered 2 of each and then had to get 3 more because they were just so good! The prices are very fair and we both got full without getting that greasy heavy feeling. They have a cute little outdoor seating area and the ladies working in the truck were very friendly too. We will definitely be stopping here probably about every time we visit Morristown from now on. It's one of our new favorite places! Update: we visited again. The tacos were fabulous again. Hand down, the best tacos I have ever had! Every item I try is clearly made fresh and with much love. My current go-to tacos are the pastors with extra pineapple. DELICIOUS! The employees are always extremely kind and welcoming to customers! Even just yesterday, when the rice in my order was accidentally left out, an employee literally ran to my car before I left the parking lot to make sure I didn’t leave without my rice. You won’t find that type of service and dedication anywhere else! Pulled pork is overly smoked to the point it is bitter. Very poorly cooked. Chicken burrito was so spicy it simply burned. No flavor still, just heat. Only goof thing about it was the sour cream that costs a dollar extra. Prices are extremely high. We each ate a little (trying to like it) and threw it in the trash.
