For our recent office team dinner, we decided to visit Triangles Biryani in Morrisville, a choice that turned out to be a memorable experience. From the moment we entered, we were impressed by the traditional yet modern décor, which blended seamlessly with the ambiance of the place. The dining area featured beautifully designed tables with intricate glass panels embedded with various spices, which added a unique touch to the setting.

The staff made us feel incredibly welcome from the outset, asking for our team and office name. Shortly thereafter, they projected a colorful and vibrant welcome banner, greeting us with a sense of personalization and warmth that made the occasion even more special.

We began by ordering a selection of beverages, including refreshing juices, mango lassi, rose milk, and soda. As we sipped on our drinks, we eagerly anticipated the appetizers. Our orders included both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, and when the non-veg tandoori items arrived, they were presented in a unique and striking way—on a special hanger tool that immediately caught our attention. The presentation was as impressive as the taste, and the appetizers were nothing short of exceptional. We devoured the dishes quickly, savoring every bite, with some standouts being the succulent lamb chops, the flavorful Afghan chicken, and the perfectly spiced Chicken 65.

Once the appetizers were cleared, we eagerly awaited the main course. To our delight, all the dishes arrived at once, creating a feast for the eyes as much as for the palate. The biryanis, especially the goat biryani, chicken biryani, and Vijayawada biryani, were bursting with flavor and perfectly cooked. Alongside them, the chicken and goat curries were incredibly rich and satisfying, making it clear that the restaurant’s chefs were masters in their craft. What made the experience even more special was that our entire team, despite usually not finishing all the food at team dinners (since we typically dine out once every two months), polished off every single dish at Triangles.

This level of enjoyment was also a testament to the excellent service. The restaurant staff were attentive and committed to making sure everything was to our liking. They regularly checked in for feedback, which showed their dedication to ensuring the quality and flavor of every dish was up to standard. We appreciated how they adapted the spice levels perfectly to cater to our diverse team, which is made up of individuals from different ethnic backgrounds, allowing everyone to enjoy the meals without feeling overwhelmed by heat.

The atmosphere at Triangles Biryani was equally impressive, with colorful lighting and a lively yet soothing ambiance. The background music, playing a selection of Indian tunes, created a warm and happy vibe that made the evening even more enjoyable. Although there was a well-stocked bar with a variety of liquor options, we opted not to try it this time, as our team felt it was best to keep things professional for an office dinner. However, the staff assured us that they could prepare some excellent cocktails, which we may consider for future visits.

In summary, for any office lunch or dinner, Triangles Biryani in the RTP area is definitely one of the best places to visit. The combination of great food, personalized service, and a welcoming atmosphere makes it an outstanding choice for team gatherings. We left with full stomachs and happy hearts, grateful for such a wonderful...

Triangle Biriyani: A Personal Journey

I've been a loyal customer of Triangle Biriyani since the early days when the chef started cooking biriyanis from home. The fresh masalas and the authentic Hyderabadi flavor always brought back fond memories of home. (Masth biriyani banaya chiccha...Hyderabadi style meey!!). It's been a joy to watch this humble endeavor evolve into an upscale Indian restaurant, now serving the RDU community on a larger scale.

What I Love About This Place Ambiance - Walking into Triangle Biriyani feels like stepping into a lavish, yet cozy space. The Versace-style antiques and the dining tables laminated with authentic-looking Indian herbs and spices create an inviting and luxurious atmosphere. It truly is a feast for the eyes as much as it is for the taste buds.

Food - The menu at Triangle Biriyani stands out from other Indian restaurants, offering a unique and exciting culinary adventure.

What I Tried and What I recommend I've sampled various dishes at Triangle Biriyani, and each one has left a lasting impression. The Hyderabadi biriyani is an absolute must-try, with its perfectly balanced spices and tender meat. The flavors are reminiscent of the chef's early days of home-cooked biriyanis. I also tried their Indian Veg/Nonveg Thali - paisa vasool! It was fresh and covered all the essential items. The Baby Manchurian and Tandoori Chicken (juicy thigh pieces, with two generous servings) were exceptional. The veggie pakora was amazing—crispy, flavorful, and a perfect starter. For a change from biriyanis.

I highly recommend their Mutton Pulav and Veg Pulav. The Mutton Pulav with their authentic Gongura chutney is a superb combination. Just be mindful of the spice levels here—I suggest ordering mild instead of medium spicy, as the spice levels can be quite different from what you might expect. And of course, the naan—loved them!

What You Should Remember Triangle Biriyani isn't just another Indian restaurant; it's a culinary experience that combines traditional flavors with a unique ambiance. The dedication to quality and authenticity shines through in every dish. Whether you're a long-time fan or a first-time visitor, you’re in for a delightful treat.

I gave 4 stars for the in person dining service , there is room for improvement. Be more specific on the spice levels when you...

On our recent trip to Morrisville, North Carolina, my family and I had the absolute pleasure of dining at Triangles Biryani and I can say without hesitation, it was one of the most unforgettable dining experiences we’ve ever had.

From the moment we walked in, everything about the restaurant impressed us. The ambiance was warm and inviting, with beautiful designs on tables and a welcoming atmosphere that immediately made us feel at home. The service was attentive, friendly, and top-notch, every detail was taken care of with genuine hospitality.

The drinks were truly exceptional and unlike anything we’ve had at an Indian restaurant. I ordered an Old Fashioned, and to my delight, it was smoked right at our table an elegant touch that added to the experience. The flavor was rich and bold, perfectly balanced. My wife’s Strawberry Margarita was equally impressive, fresh, vibrant, and masterfully crafted. These weren’t just drinks; they were experiences.

And then came the food, absolutely phenomenal. We ordered the Mirapa Kodi (Chicken), Goat Haleem, and Mutton Biryani, and each dish was an explosion of authentic Hyderabadi flavor. The spice, texture, and aroma were spot-on. Every bite was deeply satisfying, transporting us straight back to Hyderabad. The Cooker Pulav was also a delightful surprise comforting, flavorful, and a perfect addition to the meal.

Even though we were full, we couldn’t resist the desserts. We tried the Kaddu Ka Kheer, Apricot Delight, and Khubani Meetha all of which were divine. These traditional Hyderabadi sweets are hard to find, and Triangles Biryani has perfected them with love and authenticity.

As someone with a Hyderabadi background, I was genuinely moved by the quality and care put into every dish. This place is not just serving food. it’s preserving tradition and delivering a piece of home to those who miss it most.

Triangles Biryani is hands-down the best Indian restaurant we’ve visited in the United States. From food to service to ambiance, everything is five-star. If you’re looking for true Hyderabadi cuisine, this is the place. We’ll be returning every time we visit North Carolina and bringing friends and...

I'm a food delivery driver myself and I have completed 2K deliveries as of now. I'm a foodie as well traveled almost every state in USA and tasted many Indian and other cuisine restaurants since 2015. As of today Aug 20, 2022, I'm suffering from covid(along with my wife and 3 yr old kid who also tested positive) and into the home quarantine. I have ordered few times in this restaurant, taste wise it's good but service is a question always. Today we ordered mysore masala dosa via doordash here after we get some feel to have authentic food. Remember this is the first indian restaurant open daily for online order delivery. Believe me, The dosa is too small (probably 12inch or less pizza size) and there was no masala in that so called mysore masala dosa. And they gave some masala water in the name of sambar. I thought it was rasam when I opened the box actually. It costs 13.49 usd without tax and delivery fees. Dear restaurant, don't treat your online delivery customers taken for granted and disappoint like this. I don't think this will happen if we dine in. Look around other restaurants how the same mysore masala dosa they provide with less than your price and better than your quality and size. (For example.. In SPICEHUT Cary food court, you can't eat one mysore masala dosa alone unless you are damn hungry) For 21 usd along with tax, fees and delivery Driver tips it's total disappointment. I have called and complained like this few times and today I end up in posting a negative review. I'm not sure whether you even remember my complaints. Yes, I can claim a refund from doordash where I ordered which I did already but it won't fill your stomach with peace when it's needed.
