CRU Lounge Morrow — Restaurant in Morrow

Clean and quick with food. Unfortunately me and my date didn’t get to enjoy our 37 dollar hookah due to an 2 hour limit in an empty establishment with no DJ at 8pm on an Saturday. This may actually be our 1st and last visit as a guest at this establishment. We spent money during both hours non stop on food, drinks, and hookah and did not get to enjoy the “catch the vibe” because we were rushed. When the 2 hours was up the establishment still had plenty of seating around us but we were offered to moved to an high top table by the door away from everything. We felt as if we were being forced out and not welcomed as guest in this lounge/bar. I completely understand if a guest is not spending money and your establishment does not have the capacity. In this situation it was not the case. I am all for supporting our people In the hospitality business, but we have to do better when it comes to recognizing how to manage the business and maintain customer service. I am sure you would want to feel welcomed and not rushed especially when you are spending your hard earned money. I do hope you all do keep growing and do better…

My response is not contradictory I clearly said we ordered food, drink, and a hookah in the 2 hour time frame. We “Did NOT” use the hookah for the entire 2 hours. Although that may of been the plans of others…..” MY “date night included “food, drinks, and hookahs”. Also I forgot to mention it took us way longer than expected to order what was on the menu because a portion of the items advertised that we wanted “YOU” did “Not” have list a few “no crab, no CBD oil no premium hookah flavors not even an ice hose for the hookah”. Which made us keep referring back the menu and the waitress had to repeatedly come to the table to ask if we were ready. Honestly that was annoying because we felt rushed. We got baited into thinking your establishment had what was advertised on the menu and website. I understand flipping tables, but I ask again where is the “VALUE”of customer service? How can you put a time limit on someone spending money and on there enjoyment in an establishment. I am not here to under-mind your establishment but please be open to constructive criticism. Soooooooo it’s the weekend and we were looking for a cool spot to smoke some hookah, get some drinks and maybe a bite to eat, we have literally been here about 40 min. No one has approached us or asked us if we wanted to order ANYTHING a drink, a hookah or food… this is just crazy and people wonder why it’s so hard to support “our people” the hookah girls (at lease 3) looked at us and walked right by us, no waitress approached us, we eventually went to the bar to get a drink, ordered 2 Long Islands and this chick made it with coca cola, where they do that at?! I have absolutely no plans to return and I’ll be sure to spread the word! It’s unfortunate because this is one of the closer spots to me.. guess I’ll be driving to Atlanta to be able to enjoy myself! Not even sure I’d be willing to try a different location with the service or lack thereof that we’ve experienced here at the morrow location! I’m sure the owners and managers would be extremely disappointed to know the quality of service that their staff is providing! Went on 1.22.22 This was a spot I been trying to go to for a while, since I live in the area... Greeted quickly when we walked in. Wasn't crowded and got seated at the back bar... Drinks were cool.. I had already been drinking so i don't know if the drinks were truly strong... Music was good. Server was cool n had great service until..( I'll leave her name out because I'm not here to call her out) . Just writing this here so it can be done better.

My date was past her limit from earlier drinks from another location.. And I knew that.. I cut her off because I know her and could tell she was done... She still had a good amount of long Island left but I told our server she is done I'm cutting her off throw these away.... She proceeds to avoid me and give the drinks back to my date and I kept saying no she is done Im cutting her off.. Of course my date isn't going to say no but again I grab the drinks and say no she is past her limit again tries to give the drinks back... Finally she got the clue I was very serious because I didn't want her to drink anymore.... Finally she took them and threw them away...

I say this just to say when someone says were done.. Throw the drinks away..
