During my recent visit to TGI Fridays, I had the pleasure of being served by an outstanding waitress Kayla , who works as the bartender . As well servers tables, whose exemplary service significantly enhanced my dining experience. Her ability to suggest pairings, such as the perfect cocktail to complement my meal, showcased her experience and attentiveness to detail.
Throughout the meal, my waitress remained attentive without being intrusive. She checked in regularly to ensure that I was satisfied with my food and drink. Her timing was impeccable; she arrived at my table just as I finished my appetizer, allowing for a seamless transition to the main course. When I expressed a concern regarding a particular dish, she handled the situation with grace, promptly addressing my feedback and offering an alternative that exceeded my expectations.

Read moreWhat an amazing Sunday afternoon to have lunch at my local Fridays restaurant today or did I think? I walked up to the bar and asked Courtney/ Corey the bartender may I have a seat and he repeatedly ignored me, even though no one was currently sitting at the bar. I attended the restaurant alone and so I wanted to be seated where I could watch the game; nonetheless there was an uproar from the manager Towanna regarding my ID. No issues, I ordered my lunch to avoid a scene. I remembered where my ID was located in my vehicle and instructed the waiter that I would go and get it. The manager stormed out from the back and immediately refused the ID and caused a major scene. I tried to advise her I found it in the car and was ready to order but they still refused to service me. I asked about the policy while confirming since I've already ordered the food, I'll simply eat the food but they never brought it out. Instead the bartender decided to call cops without my knowledge because I asked the manager about their policy. They disregarded my $60 order which did not include the drink at all. I am completely appalled! This is the most tactless interaction I've had with employees at an esteemed restaurant chain like Fridays. The law enforcement said she ordered her food why are you refusing her service she's not behaving in anyway that's disruptive but they rallied against me and demanded that I leave. How humiliating and classless of their manager Towanna and her sidekick Courtney/ Corey . I've been attending Fridays restaurants since I was 7 years old. My parents would bring me every birthday! I've visited Fridays restaurants anywhere from Miami, FL, Morrow, GA all the way to Arlington, VA. I've never been treated so poorly and unfair in all my dining experiences. Those two employees definitely need to be retrained on customer service, customer etiquette, they need learn how to properly answer questions involving their policy, and learn their menu items. They were improperly trained and caused a ruckus before the police officers arrived, I remained calm throughout the entire ordeal even though it was quite frightening to have a manager shouting at me after I repeatedly said, please don't shout you're causing a scene. Both employees seem overworked and like they did not want to come into work at all. Courtney/ Corey seem to be drinking a alcoholic seltzer beverage while working at the bar anyway. Thanks to Fridays, I can now spot a stressed alcoholic bartender and disgruntled manager from a mile away. Bravo General Manager Gardner White; your employees should've been way more compassionate and professional today.
Sincerely, Dissatisfied...
Read moreIf I could give 0 stars, I would! My husband and I went to TGI Fridays. We chose to sit at the bar. There were only 2 sets of patrons when we arrived. The bartender, Courtney, had the worst attitude I have ever experienced. We are a retired couple and eat out a lot. I did not remember the bartender’s name at first, so I called out “Buddy”. This is a name the I call all the males in my circle, I.e, husband, sons, nephews and former employees. I noticed he got more agitated and I wasn’t sure why. He totally ignored us each time we needed service. He then said my name is Courtney to which I said ok Courtney, we’re ready to order. He goes and gets another customer’s order, puts it in, makes their drinks before coming to us. He finally comes to us and my husband tells him our order. He puts the food order in and then takes an order for a single patron, puts his order in, makes his drink and then finally made our drinks. We still didn’t say anything. Everyone at bar received their orders and we were the last to get ours. At this point, I realized this bartender had a really bad attitude. When he brought our food, my husband had asked for ketchup, to which he responded “sure”. He went to retrieve the ketchup from behind the bar and I said salt and he just looked at me and said, “yeah, we got salt. I then said “can I get some salt”. He brings the salt and commences to talk about me to my husband. He says, “oh brother, don’t worry bout it, she just confident. I deal with it all the time”. At this point I look at my husband who looks at me and we’re both confused as to where this was coming from. So the bartender asks my husband if he wanted another drink to which he brought him another one. I’m still waiting on my second drink. We finished our meal as I watched the bartender cash everyone out. We literally were sitting for 10 minutes before we asked for the check. He brings the check and takes our card. Then with our card in his hand, he goes and starts making drinks for the servers! After about 5 minutes, he comes to my husband and says, “ oh, I’m sorry, they took my handheld. Do you wanna pay with cash? “ My husband responded, “no, I gave you a card to pay with “. The bartender then goes away from the bar, and then comes back with our receipt. ATTITUDE adjustment is definitely required with...
