I would like to start off by saying that I never eat McDonald's it's probably been years since I've even walked into one. My son actually had a doctor's appointment this specific day and it just happened to be my birthday also. He told me he wanted to buy me breakfast and there weren't really many options in Morton, so we decided to go to McDonald's. We dined in, there weren't many people there so it wasn't crowded at all and there were plenty of open parking places. We used the kiosk to place our order, and he had the app, so he was able to get some special deals because of having that. We just stood and waited for our meal, we didn't have to wait very long, then we went to sit down. We did notice that they were receiving some sort of a inspection because there were alot of people walking in the bathrooms together and talking about certain things in the restaurant. It was nice to see that regular inspections do take place. I have to say that this is probably the nicest McDonald's that I have ever been in! It has been quite some time, so I'm not sure if all of the McDonald's look like this specific one, but this one looked like it was freshly updated and remodeled with more of a modern twist! It had a beautiful private booth in the middle of the restaurant next to the soda machines, and I thought that was pretty neat looking. I didn't get a great picture of it because there were people sitting there, and I try not to get people in my pictures. I also noticed that they have the playground in this one too which is awesome! I had no idea that it looked like this on the inside! I plan on bringing my little kiddos back here at some point to play on the playground while having lunch, it really is very nice on the inside! I got the bagel for breakfast and noticed that the bacon was a little bit chintzy, not even sure that it was an entire piece of bacon but the sandwich was still good. I also tried the Tres Leches frappe for the first time, and that was pretty good too, it's been a long time since I had a frappe. The best part about my meal was the bonding time that I had with my son. It didn't matter where we went as long as I was spending that time with him. It was the absolute perfect start to my birthday, and I wouldn't have changed it for the world. Thank you for being open and having exceptionally good service this specific day and creating a staple...
Read moreThis place is poor service! Waited on the register for 5 minutes so I asked if someone is working the register because no one acknowledged us and the guy yells you can wait a f'n minute. They thought it was funny it was the most ignorant thing I've seen. I ignored it because I was with my kid and he was just a young kid that clearly has lack of moral and probably needs mental health evaluation. But this employee is definitely needs a reality check and needs training on how to be an employee. If I was greeted or even acknowledged I would of waited paitently but after 5 minutes I wasn't sure because they also had touch screens and not from this location. One employee clapped, the others were cursing it was disturbing and mind blowing to even expirenced this type of service. Young kids that are immature and know nothing about customer service. The manager served us as he removed him and you can tell he was upset and couldn't wait to get us out the door. I will be reporting to corporate. If you get out of the highway go to the next stop, do not stop here very disgusting service. As for the one kid that was having a bad day, don't fire him but educate him, get him proper training, and make him get some anger management because it was so left field and things can get escalated with another customer. My kid safety is my main priority and was not worth me acknowledging but I'm glad the manager jumped in quickly. No words just served to handle his employee. Careful at the...
Read moreJust experienced the absolute worst service at the McDonald's Morton Illinois location. Store number 6119. The female manager on shift as of 6:30 to 6:58 pm with the short black hair and 5 foot 2 inches tall black glasses SHOULD NOT be managing employees! When the employee who took our order screwed up she snapped at her and cut her down in front of customers. A gentleman from the parking lot who had been waiting 23 minutes for his order came in to check where it was and it was sitting on the back counter. She screamed at a girl named Atlas about not doing her job in front of customers again. Then HANDED SAID PERSON his food that had been sitting 23 minutes instead of remaking it. He looked at ys and said good luck, this place is insanity. After waiting 20 minutes for our own food and listening to her yell at yet another 2 people we demanded money back to leave. She refused to give her name and then threatened the other manager on duty to not give out her name. Your corporation needs to know you have an abusive, disorganized, manager at that store who harrasses instead of helps and who yells instead of does. The page itself has shut off ability to write reviews therefore it is getting called out on the corporate page. Bet your bottom dime im calling all the numbers and emailing corporate as well. Any person, manager or not, who uses threats, harassment, and verbal abuse to run a store should be...
