It is not OK for the barista to argue with the customer—Today on our way across the state we stopped in and I ordered a grande peppermint mocha with light whip…the cashier wrote down a grande peppermint mocha with light ice and extra milk. When the anemic looking drink hit the bar, I suggested to the barista that it looked like it needed another pump of chocolate. I was told it was made with the usual amount. I said it does not look like what I had ordered. She said it was what I had ordered, reciting what the cashier had written (which was definitely not what I had ordered.) I repeated that that was not what I had ordered…see where this is going? A simple, ‘Let me check’ and taking a moment to clarify would have gone a long way. With the price of a specialty coffee these days, it is more important than ever that the drinks arrive as promised. I have occasionally ended up with a remade drink, but it has always been a congenial affair until today. I always hit that ‘tip’ button when paying, but will think twice when stopping at this...
Read moreWorst location I've ever seen for a Starbucks. Can't count how many times I've ended up going somewhere else because of the drive thru line backing up traffic in the street. And their service is unfortunately slow every time I've gone. Also, @Starbucks, why is it that the only response given by the corporation, out of the exponential amount of negative reviews, was a review which was simply about the business hours? I would have thought that maybe addressing and apologizing about your horrendous customer "service" standards in the employees you allow to work there? Or possibly addressing the disarrayed state of the likely code violating restroom commonly in a condition of absolute filth? The single comment regarding early closing procedures, likely executed by lazy, seemingly untrained & incapable employees, kinda seems like the bare minimum in terms of your standard of what's important to make right or even...
Read moreTrying to drive in to this place is a nightmare most of the time. There are times I’ve not been able to get into the line and then had to walk in for the drink I’ve had to wait in line just to tell them my drink is at the drive-thru area. I know I have ordered it there so that part is on me, but if I can’t get into the drive-thru line because it’s backed up to the road and I can’t turn in, what else can I do? I wish I could quickly tell a barista but they are always too slammed to even look up or respond to you. The building location and design is what really kills this location. So much business lost because people can’t get in line and get in there! They also close the lobby a lot so you are forced into the line if you can even get in it. Also, DON’T ORDER AHEAD at this location. With all the issues above, your drink will be disgusting by the time...
