I had the pleasure of stumbling upon Taco Del Mar in Moses Lake, and it turned out to be a delightful surprise! The enchilada plate combo and burrito bowl we ordered were nothing short of excellent. As someone who grew up in the Hatch Valley and is quite picky about Mexican food and red chili mixtures, I was thoroughly impressed. The flavors were authentic, and the ingredients were undoubtedly fresh.
What truly added to the experience was the warm and welcoming staff. Their friendliness made us feel right at home. Not to forget, the cleanliness of the restaurant was remarkable, including the super clean restrooms. It's evident that Taco Del Mar takes pride in providing a top-notch dining environment.
If you're in Moses Lake and craving some delicious Mexican cuisine, Taco Del Mar is an absolute must-visit. I can't recommend it enough for its great food, friendly service, and impeccable cleanliness.
In addition to the fantastic food and welcoming atmosphere, what pleasantly surprised us at Taco Del Mar was the affordability. Our two meals, along with drinks, came in at under $22. Considering the generous portions, this is an excellent value, especially for those who have hearty appetites like myself, and for those who exercise daily and require substantial nourishment. The portions were perfectly suited for satisfying a hungry 6'4" individual like me. It's rare to find such a combination of quality, quantity, and affordability in one place. Taco Del Mar exceeded our expectations...
Read moreCame in Saturday Oct. 1st at 5:40 pm. They had a sign posted, that they were closing at 6, because of staffing. Ok no big deal, well take our food to go. It was my son's birthday and he wanted Taco Del Mar. He was so excited. Been talking about it all day. As we were standing in line, there was one employee working, and two people, that were together ordering.... She was super SASSY, slamming stuff. Rolling her eyes. Huffing and puffing. Signing. Someone came in to finish getting drinks and she rolled her eyes, sighed and shock her head annoyed. The lady that was ordering was super nice, because she could tell the employee was sassy and was so inconvenienced by doing her job. The lady working continues slamming stuff and having an attitude as the husband ordered. They were even taking there food to go because of her attitude. We walked out, despite my son being excited all day for it. I get being short staffed. I get you may or may not have been there all day. Which you weren't. You complained you had been there since 11. I have been there. It's not fun. But never in a million years would I treat people so rudely. Especially when you have less than 15-20 min left of being open. I get you gotta close and do side work. But this is so uncalled for. We have eaten here many times. And have had no complaints until now.... I'm not one to call management and complain. But I WILL be calling. Thankfully we just down the road and tried another Mexican restaurant....
Read moreI had the worst experience at this place tonight, ever. I like he food here and never had an issue before. The female employee tonight was rude, unfriendly, wouldn't give us a free kids meal with our order because my daughter wasn't with me. I have never had to have her with me to get a to go order. The employee told me her name was Lupe, and was satisfied with my remark that her customer service was lacking. She was so busy trying to be rude to me that she rang up our order incorrectly. I was so done dealing with the rude employee that I didnt even try to correct her mistake. Instead of a free kids meal, we received a free enchilada plate. I won't be returning here if this employee is behind the counter. The male employee was more than helpful, is always smiling and his customer service is top notch. I didn't even get a kids meal,...
