Woody's Drive-In — Restaurant in Moses Lake

You may be asking why the 1 star… well, let me explain.

I purchased 3 milkshakes and decided to take a walk with my girlfriend around the block. I parked in what I thought was customer parking for Woodys. My girlfriend and I were finishing our walk and as we got closer to Woody’s (where my car was parked) I noticed a tow truck with what looked like my car on top. I waved the tow truck down and confirmed that it was my car. After speaking with the tow truck driver, I was surprised to hear that Woodys management had called to have my car towed.

I don’t understand why Woodys would tow and disrespect a paying customer who up to this point had great respect for this small business. I would suggest that Woodys management take more care in deciding which vehicles get towed. According to the tow truck driver I wasn’t the first paying customer that has had their car towed.

What’s worse was that the manager had told the tow truck driver: “he drives a BMW…he can afford the towing fee”.

If it wasn’t for the great tow truck driver I would have a ruined date and 400$ in towing fees.

Shake it up! I can't go to moses without a stop at woodies. The burgers are solid, as is everything else I've had from their menu, but the shakes are a cut above. Not to mention the Boston shake. Yeah I had never heard of it either, couldn't really even get my head around it. I'm glad I didn't let it stop me from trying this deliciously simple, sinful bit of genius. One of the founders favorites, so I've been told. It's is just one of woodies to notch shakes topped with a Sundae. My personal poison is a mint Oreo shake with a hot fudge sundae. The hot fudge melts it's way down into the shake, the ice cream sinks (have a straw ready because there is a little work to do to keep up with displacement untill the ice cream solidifies the mixture once the fudge cools down). All I can say is that the sum is better than it's parts by themselves. Evilly delicious. So wrong, yet oh so right. I don't think many people attempt these and it's a shame. Next time you've been really good or maybe feel like being a little bad, give it a shot. Guilt never tasted so good. Btw..This review isn't sponsored or whatever. Just...

DO NOT EAT HERE at Woody’s drive In. I went to Woody’s, paid $40 for lunch and the owner Jordan calls a tow company to come tow my car as I’m eating the food I just purchased from her business. I asked her why she was towing my car and she said because I couldn’t park on her property. THERE ARE NO “NO PARKING” signs. Even after she is aware of the situation, she proceeds to allow the tow company to try and tow my car. I was literally in tears because l had to be back to work and because I had just paid $40 to eat from her business. Police got involved and she never once apologized or asked the tow company to unhook my car. I will never give this restaurant my business again and I hope anybody I know never does either. Disgusting. And the woman was never once empathetic she was so angry she was shaking. Do not eat at woodys and DO NOT park near woodys. By the looks of it, this was not the first time she’s done this. Also Moses Lake tow company is a joke the way they handled the situation.
