China Dragon — Restaurant in Moulton

Husband and I ate here the other night. Pricing was reasonable, service was good, food was alright. Crab rangoon weren’t right- they were a very weird goopy texture and sweet in flavor. Would try them again to see if they just had an off day but couldn’t eat them this time around. Chow mein noodles were too soft and over cooked for me but my husband liked them. Mozzarella sticks were warm but not hot enough to be stringy and yummy. Loved the Chinese donuts and shrimp dishes. Egg drop soup and sesame chicken were alright. Didn’t hate the egg rolls and general tso’s chicken but they just didn’t hit the mark flavor wise. They have various American types of food as well like wings, chicken tender, etc. Which is good for those with picky kids. Different types of desserts and ice cream too. On 7/14/2025 @ 7:15 pm me my husband,son and his friend came in to eat. The food was horrible, like it had been sitting all day. My son and I got sweet tea and it tasted old. My husband and my son's friend got Pepsi. The waiter never came back over to ask how everything was or if we needed refills. I myself shouldn't have been charged because I took one bite and was done. Right before we was leaving the waiter came over and asked if we needed to go cups, my husband said yes, 2 Pepsi to go please. She came back with 2 empty cups and sit them on the table, they didn't even have Pepsi in their glasses to pour in their empty cups. Horrible experience, will...

Disclaimer: I'm not a fan of Asian buffets...at all. However, this is one I'll tolerate when my family wants to go. It's definitely the best one in town, and I think at least as good as anything similar in a 30 mile radius. It's always clean and always consistent quality, never any wandering about what the food might be like that day. I appreciate consistency in a restaurant. It has some safe options for my non-Asian food preferences, too. And they have ice cream! The service is friendly. This has been a staple local restaurant for many years now.
