We met friends here today about 430 and my wife ordered her standard bean and cheese burrito with sauce, lettuce, tomato and sour cream on it and it was $4.15. I ordered the #26, two chicken burritos, with lettuce, tomato and sour cream and rice and beans for $10.15. Our order was taken promptly and the food arrived promptly and hot and delicious. My wife and I are kind of shores of Mexican cuisine. From Mexico, California, Arizona, and Texas, and Georgia where we live. The Mexican food you get in Georgia is not what you get out west among the best you can get in this area and the price was better than most. Horrible experience tonight with my uncle for dinner. The chips were stale and the salsa was old. When my uncle and I gout our margaritas they literally tasted like water and alcohol. No mixer. And cheap tequila at that! Didn’t even drink them. Also my uncles garlic shrimp were old. He states they were left out all day and not preserved. To top it all off when we started talking about this to the hostess she said no refunds. The manager came over and literally kicked us out of the store screaming at us. First things first, the salsa was excellent. Enough spice/heat to get your attention, but not so much as to keep you from enjoying it. I’ve never liked a salsa that was just a tomato sauce with a little onion in it, and Old Mexico did not disappoint. The food took a few minutes to come out, which is a good thing. If you want food that’s sitting under a heat lamp and waiting on you to get there, then go to McDonald’s. I don’t mind waiting a little if it means my food is prepared fresh.
