Waffle House — Restaurant in Moultrie

I stopped in to the Waffle House at 1900 1st Ave, SE to purchase two all star specials with scrambled eggs and grits. The eggs were to have cheese and ham in them. My meals were prepared, I paid and left. Upon getting the plates home, my husband noticed that his eggs were not done. In fact, they were so undercooked that you could see a congealed looking slime that looked like egg whites. I immediately called back to the restaurant to tell of the problem, I spoke directly with the waitress who served me. She said I could come back then to get another, and I informed her that I live out of town, so I would come later to get a replacement. I asked if she would take down my information and she said she would probably be there whenever I came back and that she would remember my face. I called back today, 12/23/13 and explained to whomever answered the phone what had happened. I was told by the cashier that according to the night manager's instruction,I would need to call back tomorrow to speak with the original waitress and manager before anything would be done. Of course I am upset because once again, I will have to go out of my way to correct a mistake that never should have been made...never mind me living out of town. If they spent more time paying attention to what they are cooking as opposed to disrespecting their staff(both cooks made derogatory/rude comments about staff who stood right there beside them), the problem more than likely wouldn't...

This Waffle House is very homey, welcoming, and clean. My husband and I stopped in Moultrie Ga this past Friday night around 10pm ..we were greeted with heys and smiles we sat for a few minutes it was pretty busy. we figured we would have to wait a while... we were considering just going to another place because the server and waitresses were taking other orders and a crowd came in behind us. ...we went to get up and a waitress came up to our table from the back room .........NO LIE! and she said.. .." Hey guys, welcome to waffle House, thanks for coming in and sitting with us!....looks like you will be sitting a while ! And turned to walk away...I thought she was being serious...until she turned back around and laugh and said.."nooo...im just kidding"...and proceeded to not only get our drinks and take our order but she also cooked our meals, delivered our food, which was amazing ,and checked on us 3 times all while still cooking others food...i realized she was a cook, not a waitress..she had the most exceptional customer service we have ever experienced.. definitely, waffle house even 2 other waitresses checked on us.. we appreciate the southern hospitality...a must stop for a home...

I usually love food from Waffle House but this morning my food was anything but lovable. My husband was going to call in our order but after 30 minutes of calling with no answer he decided just to go there and place our order. He gave a very detailed order for my food due to my dietary restrictions however they were not followed and I was unable to eat my food because of this. I must add he was the only customer in the store at the time so it wasn't like it just got mixed up. I also tried to call back to the store to report all of this but guess what -- still no answer and we had the right number. I would have had my husband carry it back to be redone but its about an hour round trip so I wasn't gonna do him that way. Needless to say next time hubby mentions Waffle House I may say I...
