we were first encouraged 2 not order the food desired bcuz Carla was going 2 be upset that she had 2 cook it. When pulling up 2 the 2nd window, no one greeted us until the order was ready, so 3.5 minutes. so we were left just sitting there not knowing what was going on w/ our order. When I made the 2 minute drive home, me & my girlfriend took a bite out of the mcdouble we ordered & we both agreed that was the nastiest sandwich we've ever tasted! The bun was hard as a rock & the cheese in between the meat was so melted & hot that my girlfriend instantly knew that the burger had been sitting in the HLZ 4 a minimum of 20 minutes. My girlfriend especially knows a burger has been sitting for 2 long when the pickles are just as hot as a grill. That is not quality food @ McD. We contemplated calling & complaining. We decided it was best. My girlfriend called 1st & she complimented what was good about the order first but then let the manager know that the mcdouble was hard & very nasty. She proceeded 2 state that she found that hard to believe considering that everything is freshly made & cooked 2 order. When it was made mention again that the bun was hard, the manager stated, "oh yea, the new buns they have, they get hard quickly so yea it can be like that." So instead of this manager trying 2 resolve a complaint, she proceeded 2 create a bigger complaint. My girlfriend hung up because of this managers behavior. I called back & when I asked 4 the name of the manager (carla) she would not give her name & proceeded to question me & who I was. Which I stated my name. Nothing more was resolved on that call either since she continued 2 be difficult, defensive, & rude. We realized we didnt have a receipt 2 at least do a survey so I went back 4 one. When I went back at 3:30a (order was placed @ 2:50a) 4 the receipt, I was told the store was closed because they were switching over 2 breakfast. I said I didnt receive a receipt & repeated my order 2 the cashier. I was first told that they couldnt retrieve it because they closed out the drawers but she would do what she could. She stated she clearly remembered our order & then read it back. At that time we realized we didnt receive one of the mcchickens...The cashier said she had the receipt in her hand so I said I would pull up. I got up there and asked who would have answered the phone earlier and the cashier was reluctant to answer (probably out of fear for what carla would do) but half confirmed it. I pulled off but forgot to get the complaint number. When I went back, carla came to the window and I asked for the franchise complaint number. Carla stated they weren't franchise. So I stated "oh, so you're corporate"? She says, "oh no we're not corporate, we're franchise". She proceeded to ask how I knew her name, I said oh I dont know, who am I, what's my name?" (Since she wouldnt answer my questions without grief) She says, "you're anthony" I said, "well so what does that matter when I'm asking for the complaint number"? She stated she didnt have the number. I told her that that was okay because I know who the owner (Valerie) is and my girlfriend has known Hugo (who is the head of their HR department) for several years, since she was a Department Manager for McDonalds and had worked for several mcdonalds locations for a combined total of 7 years. Obviously this manager has behavioral issues and her crew fear her. No one in their right mind, who works in customer service, would ever treat a customer like that. And her behavior was for what? So she wouldnt have to count a burger on her waste list? Who knows if the other food she served us was safe. Also, you dont turn away business when switching to breakfast, you are required to keep the store open no matter how many employees you have in your store. It's only been over the last couple years where stores were getting in trouble for shutting down during their switch over. This particular store was on the list to "Fix" 2 years ago.....I see they didnt make...
Read moreThe woman working the late night drive through window was amazing! She wished me Happy Mother's Day, which totally made my day. I explained that I just have dog kids, but always wanted at least a half dozen, and normally get very depressed on Mother's Day. She ordered fresh eggs for my McMuffin and talked with me while it was being made. Turns out she has 9 kids, and was cheerfully working on Mother's Day! She was so sweet, and so humorous, and the freshly-mafe egg McMuffin was the absolute best I have EVER had at a McDonalds. I will definitely return to this location. By the way, I got to party with the McDonald's executives in 1993 in Privolnoya, Krasnodar Region of Russia, when they came to check out their secret operation with ConAgra and Golden Valley Microwave foods to supply meat and potatoes to the new MacDonalds in Russia. I was working mostly with the GV/Vogel Popcorn operation, but got redirected to help with interpreting when the MacDonald's executives came with ConAgra VP Jim Watkins and Secretary John Hart. They might have all retired by now, but if any are still working, please tell the that the young Minnesotan woman who gave them rides on a Ural motorcycle with a sidecar says to tell them that they have a super gem of an employee at this MacDpnalds on County 10, just West of I-35W. I didn't get her name, but she has long silver hair in a ponytail/bun and was working the graveyard shift. This woman is exceptional and I hope that MacDonald's is smart enough to...
Read moreSomething went wrong with their system and the order I placed on the app essentially never showed up on their end! Totally ok, things go wrong with technology all the time! I showed email and app confirmation of the order and it still disnt get filled nor would they give me a refund. The lead called her GM in spanish on speaker m, assuming that I didn't undertsbd spanish. They laughed about how I made a big deal over 30$ and the GM told her to ignore me. 30$ is not a lot but it is $ that I worked for. This person and her GM nees to be re trained on how to handle unexpected situations and customers concerns. I managed a restaurant for 15 years and never would I or any of my employees have behaved this way. This store has always had mediocre customer service at best and always very slow and laid back but tonight was the cherry on top. Mc donalds will NOT get another penny going forward!!!! I did speak to coorporate but feel that it was not taken too seriously as the person was very laid back on the other end. The energy that was given was very, oh well - just another customer complaining kind of vibe. And if a establishment is going to be okay with their employees speaking to their customers like that, they will be no longer getting money from me. I mean there is a reason for the star rating they do have at this location!! Going back months and months there is 1,2 and 3 star reviews all over, never read thise til tonight. That...
