Tacos la mexicana — Restaurant in Mounds View

Tasty tacos! Tasty burrito! ]Would recommend this stop if you're looking for some tasty Mexican - everything on the menu looked good but I can only eat so much. The staff was nice and the interior looked well cared for.

Stopped after volleyball at this food truck and it didn't disappoint.

It's was $28 for the combo taco (3 tacos come with rice and beans) and a Mexicano burrito. Not cheap but pretty standard for a food truck. Portions were big especially the burrito.

Parking was easy in the Savilo liquor store...

Ordered for the first time... barbacoa tacos, AL pastor tacos, steak fajita quesadillas. Quesadilla was big and delightful. The barbacoa tacos were delicious but needed more meat. The al pastor tacos had plenty of meat but could have been more flavorful for $3.50 each. I don't like sweet flavors when eating food. I felt the al pastor was on the sweeter side. Massive amounts of food. Tastes pretty good too. Well spiced and tender meat. I was stuffed afterwards. Did feel a bit uninspired. The slathering of queso on my burrito made it feel like what you'd get at any other Mexican restaurant.

Parking here is a bit wonky. Its in the lot right next to the liquor store and you have to come in at an angle directly from the road. There's also a median when you're coming from the intersection, so you do need to...
