Sam's Sorrento Pizza #1 — Restaurant in Mount Clemens

Ok....honestly, I would have given 5 stars instead of 4. But, one of the pizzas I ordered was a pepperoni and cheese. Now, in all fairness...the pizza tastes wonderful. But that one pizza...all the pepperoni seemed to be all on one side leaving like 4 pepperoni on 1/2 of it...while the other side had it all. My son loves the vegetarian, my husband loves either meat lover's or the classic supreme. My daughter hates pizza....seriously?! Who hates pizza?? Lucky for her they have beer battered shrimp. Huge win win for everyone!! Now, if you really want to taste something amazing??? I highly recommend the Greek pizza. O M G it's to die for!! The service was excellent. They were very busy at the time I went, but well worth the extra minutes for a slice of heaven.

Update a day later....do you know what excellent customer service is? The owner called me after seeing my review to hopefully get to the bottom of why my one pizza was messed up. Sometime after it came out of the oven, it got tilted somewhere and with the cheese still hot and the pepperoni slid. Remember, the pizza was still wonderful and we are for sure returning customers. But it really means a lot that the owner called to apologize. NOW THAT'S OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE!! See people....you really need to go. Not only do they care about our satisfaction...they make THE BEST pizza!! And for that call alone...I changed my rating to 5 STARS!!...

For one if you order pick up. You better get there early because you are going to be in line in the Drive-Thru. Which if this is your first time ordering they will not tell you that you will be waiting inline in the Drive-Thru. If there are people in front of you it will take time 10 minutes per two people in front of you. Then after you receive your order please make sure to check it because I've ordered from their two times in the last 2 weeks and they forgot something each time. They forgot my fries. So my I had to wait 10 minutes while all my food was getting cold to wait for my fries. Then when I got home I realized they forgot my bread for my spaghetti even though I upgraded and paid extra money to receive garlic flavored. This was the worst experience I ever had with a pizzeria. I am so disappointed in this place. I liked and enjoyed all the other Sorrento's I've been to except for this one in Mount Clemens. I am not happy and after all that that went wrong I'm going to get $5 off my bill and I don't even think I'm going to use it because I probably will...

In this crappy weather and the roads getting slick. I thought I would pick up a pizza on the way home. I ordered our pizza we always get extra topping so we always ask to get it well done. It's happened in the past before but we've never complained . I called the store back when I got home this pizza was raw in the inside it ended up in the garbage I spent $32 there and tipped $5. The reason it ended up in the garbage is they told me that I could come and pick up a new one which I did not want to go back out on the roads as they're getting slick or give me a 20% off my next bill. That is unacceptable we spend good money there and I've looked at their other reviews they're not so good anymore it sure has changed we're done with Sam's. Not to mention one time when we got home the pizza look like it literally was turned upside down and put back in the box. Not to mention the manager was rude and not professional. The price for these pizzas up there are not worth the money...
