Mr D's Pizza Palace — Restaurant in Mount Holly

What in the heck is going on with this place? Truly one of the worst establishments I’ve ever visited. The ‘server’ has absolutely no Customer service skills, seems mad at the world, aggressive, and the has the worst attitude. Why are you so angry, ma’am? Secondly, the cook, cuz I would NEVER call him anything more than that, was visibly upset at everything, every single thing. Every time there was something ‘extra’ or different about an order, he’s back there cursing everyone and their mother out. Completely unacceptable when that can be heard into the dining room. Not to mention the OBVIOUS health violations going, here’s a couple example. No glove use with ready to eat foods, no hair restraint(neither cook nor server), and the cook also going between raw and ready to eat food, not to mention that when the server lady was told, I know what he’s back there saying and I can see what he’s doing, she dismissed me and told the cook ‘you have someone that wants to talk to you.’ And once again, was met with confrontation, and an ill mannered attitude. Once he realized I knew everything he was saying, suddenly he wasn’t taking about me or my order, that’s complete b.s. I ordered through DoorDash and my order was more than 30 minutes late because it wasn’t started until I GOT THERE. THAT IS INSANE! Now I don’t trust my food, the people, or the...

Had a baby shower for my daughter here today. Pizzas and lasagna we're very tasty. We brought our solo cups, baby themed paper plates, table cover and deco, games, cake and gifts. Nice and quiet here and we all had a great time. Mr D's staff is very friendly and accommodating. I put our food and drink order a few days in advance so all was ready to go. Thank you very much, again! Oh, we had my mother's 88th birthday there back in April. It worked out great too! So we came back again. Besides, we think their pizzas, burgers, cheese steak subs, ham n turkey club, fries, big salads and lasagna are the best. Do give them a try! Two stars for the wings, that’s it!! Terrible service, employees seem to hate to be there. Not even a crack of a smile. The subs or paninis are terrible. I hate Subway and I hate to say it but subway subs are better. Paid $7 for a sub of lettuce and a couple layers of something. Decided to give them a chance one more time, this time paninis. They sucked bad!! Dry chicken meat that hurt to eat, a few strips of meat and to pieces of midget tomatoes. Can I justify the $8 I paid for it??
