This place is at a truck pit stop, so it doesn't look like your normal restaurant. It's a part of a gas station which might deter people but honestly the food was better than expected. We got crispy tenders but had to send them back because it was very stale so I would only recommend getting it fresh as it looked really good. The biscuits that come with it are sweet and honestly very delightful.
They have a buffet you can choose from and I got rice with curried chicken which was really good and flavorful and probably their best entree. I also got a side of butter chicken and chicken haleem, both were also very flavorful. Def try their chicken haleem, it was a bit different but kept wanting more of it. We also got fresh warm naan which was made perfectly. For some reason, they offered to make chicken karahi fresh for us but it took a really long time ( a little over 30 mins) for that item alone and it wasn't even good. The chicken wasn't tender and it lacked a lot of flavor.
Overall, this place is decent. It's one of the few halal options in the area so I would recommend it. They also have a great selection of desi/middle eastern groceries that you usually can't...
Read moreExcellent, authentic Pakistani food including 4 curries (2 veg, 2 meat), 2 types of rice, chicken tandoori and kabob, as well as veggie samosa.
They also put together a selection of Southern-fried chicken, catfish, chicken tenders, honey and coconut shrimp as well as potato wedges.
But let's get clear, their Pakistani food is to die for. It's what people come back for!
That and Kaz, the man is a sweetheart who is extremely generous and caring of his patrons.
Please stop by if you're feeling hungry. You will leave delighted.
P.S. Don't leave without their delicious, hot, chewy and crusty naan bread. It is so fragrant and tasty, you won't have any left by the time you get to your car!
P.P.S. If you want one of their specialty goat dishes, call 45 minutes ahead of arriving so they can prepare it...
Read moreAfter being so excited to find a local Indian place, it was extremely disappointing. I got rice, chicken curry, tandoori chicken, butter chicken, a chickpea curry, naan and samosas. The grease was unbelievable. I took one bite of the chicken curry and threw in the trash. It was literally 3 pieces of chicken in a greasy separated weird sauce. Definitely not a curry. The butter chicken was edible but the sauce had separated. Tandoori chicken, Naan and samosas were bland but edible. The chickpea curry was also inedible and went into the trash. Spent 112$ and thoroughly regret. Save you money and go elsewhere. Wish I could...
